Oh, so your favourite novel is Crime and Punishment? Tell me, how does it feel to be an impoverished and struggling university student? Ever thought of murder?
A sneak preview of the cover(s?) for the upcoming The Brontë Sisters: A Room of Their Own. There are still a few weeks to get your submission in!
Any thoughts?

@EyreBuds Is there any textual clues in the book to suggest she was abused? Wouldn’t her brother hate Rochester if that were true? Rochester could have admitted her to an asylum, but chose to give her personal care. Much more humane.
@EyreBuds Maria Schneider in Zefirelli's 1996 was outstanding. I'm so tired of feminist interpretations on this book! A violent mad person can't be dealt with without medication, not available then. He could have killed her but he didn't.
her character was very misunderstood. Even Jane Eyre was confused. I'm sure Charlotte Bromtë would like to do some justice to her character if given the chance.
Next week's episode is on Bertha Antoinetta Mason Rochester. We need your help. What do you think of her as a character? Which adaptation do you think captured her best? Do you think she was an abused wife or a "mad woman" in the attic?

I know I should be posting the anniversary of Jane Eyre's publication but I'm not feeling well today. And gotta do more research on it to post more soon. Wish me well.
I get off twitter most of the time because I'm a bit busy at work but here's a picture of me reading a children's book during my breaks. Will post a lot soon like I used to when work isn't hectic anymore.
