@BCAFCBH @boroshaun1971 @puffpuff65 Entertainment value of the game isn’t a standalone reason for my favourites, atmosphere and overall experience come into it too. Low scoring doesn’t necessarily mean a bad game. Been to plenty of 0-0’s where there’s been plenty of chances and the keepers have had a blinder.

@boroshaun1971 @puffpuff65 If it benefits Gateshead, Motherwell or England I’m happy to take a 0-0 or a 1-0. Games involving anyone else, naturally you want entertainment but in a way that’s also competitive, games that result in ridiculous hammerings are tedious in their own way.

The greatest day of my life as I married my best friend. A day filled with fun, laughter, a few tears and a lifetimes worth of memories! Not usually one for soppiness on here but I hit the jackpot meeting this one ❤️

@WHUJG98 @SibsMUFC From past experience it’s just when it clashes with England that games get moved. Been to plenty over the years during major tournaments that have been played at the same time as quarter and semi finals.

Football update

As it stands AFC Newbiggin v Ashington on 1st July is scheduled to be my first game of the 2026/2027 season, however if England are playing in the World Cup the same night then it’ll be somewhere the following night. More exciting plans ahead for the new season!

@Owen_hall1 Aye, if we win the group then we’ll be playing at 5pm our time on 1st July so can see mass changes to the schedule that night as no doubt players will want to watch as well. Finish 2nd and I think we’d be at 10pm on Friday 3rd.

@Owen_hall1 Might not have much of a say. Often the case that clubs change their date & KO times in line with it. England played the QF on a Saturday at 3pm in 2018, every friendly played that day was an early KO.

@WHUJG98 I imagine teams will change the date/KO of their pre season games accordingly if it clashes with England. Been the case the last few tournaments.

Had a few people ask if I’m making a video on Gateshead’s situation, the answer is yes, but not right away. I’m on my annual break from making content following my final vlog of the season. I’ve been distracted by personal life stuff this week which has probably been a good thing
