Launched in Oct 2021, the Disability Employment Charter outlines the policies we believe the government need to adopt to address the disability employment gap.
Did you know that nearly a third of respondents thought that disabled people are not as productive as non-disabled people?
❌ This is a dangerous myth!
✅ Numerous studies have shown that disabled people are just as productive if not more than the wider population. #LDWeek

Today is #DisabilityPayGap day. It’s the day in 2022 when the average Disabled worker stops getting paid for the rest of the year, compared to the average non-disabled worker.
This means that that Disabled workers will work 54 days without pay this year. 🗓️
Today is Disability Pay Gap day, disabled people effectively work for free for the rest of the year (54 days) and stop being paid today.
👉🏽 Non-disabled workers now earn a sixth more than disabled workers. That's 17.2% or a £3,700 difference.
