India’s done the right thing by staying calm & issuing a brief, clinical statement that India has noted the US tariff announcement & India will protect its national interest. Trump’s still waiting for Modi’s call on this issue.

He is trying to negotiate with a Gujrati seasoned politician who can drink warm water and stay without food for many days.

India is getting so much attention today because its economic and strategic influence are rising faster than any other major nation. India is no longer a fringe player: it is now an essential pillar of both the global economy and the international order.
