Following the failed August Coup, the activities of the CPSU were suspended throughout the Soviet Union by the Supreme Soviet.

The war ended with an Anglo-Prussian Coalition victory, major colonial realignments in the Americas, and the Treaty of Hubertusburg, which confirmed Prussia’s possession of Silesia and cemented its rise as a European Great Power.

The Prussian Army under Frederick the Great crosses into Saxony, launching the Third Silesian War.
Caught off guard, Saxony and Austria are unprepared to respond properly leading to the Occupation of Dresden by September 9th.

The Slavery Abolition Act 1833 received Royal Assent, beginning the legal abolition of slavery throughout most of the British Empire. Its principal provisions came into force on 1 August 1834.

The coup led to the rise of Eleftherios Venizelos the following year. Venizelos would go on to serve as Prime Minister of Greece for 12 years across eight terms between 1910 and 1933, leading the Liberal Party, which advocated a Greater Greece and liberal and republican ideals.

The Military League, a secret society of Greek military officers, staged a coup to oust Prime Minister Dimitrios Rallis and replace him with Kyriakoulis Mavromichalis. The so-called Goudi Coup, or Revolt,was named after the suburb Goudi in eastern Athens.

The Revolutionary Insurgent Army of Ukraine under Nestor Makhno flee Ukraine for Romania and the Red Army dissolves the Makhnovshchina, an Anarcho Communist Movement that occupied southern and eastern Ukraine during the Ukrainian War of Independence of 1917–1921.
