Didnโt follow NNPC this week? No worries, Iโve got you covered.
From key partnerships and community projects to real stories of people making impact, it was a week full of action and purpose.
Spend a few minutes to see the moments and updates that mattered most
Honestly, when I watched the interaction video of Mr Tony Elumelu and the โTonyโ girl, I had to go back and listen to the question the young lady asked. To me, it was a missed opportunity.
Here is a young lady who is a UBA graduate trainee, sitting in front of Tony Elumelu, the Chairam of UBA group and one of the most influential business leaders in Africa, and she had a rare opportunity to ask a question that could make him remember her.
But instead, she chose to ask about content creation and social media engagement, something Pamilerin Adegoke will tell you for free on X here. There is nothing wrong about content creation or social media, but the context matters. This is someone who had gone through a programme designed to equip her with knowledge and skills relevant to the organization. That was a perfect opportunity for her to demonstrate what she had learnt, to ask a question about the banking industry, leadership, career growth, and financial services.
Instead, she asked a question that, my opinion, could have been asked almost anywhere.
When you find yourself in a room with someone who can significantly influence your career, donโt just ask a question because you have microphone. Ask a question that communicates who you are, what you have learnt, what you understand and where you are going.
You donโt often get a sit directly infront of people like Tony Elumelu, you must understand how to maximise opportunity.
Timini understood the assignment with the gwagon. "I'm back" energy but with evil plan behind it.
Anita didn't see it coming in "A Father's Secret"

Sweet 16 is actually enjoyable. I won't lie, I wasn't expecting a Nigerian musical when I started watching.
But the songs, dancing and storyline actually blend well together.
