Messi is the best football player - ever. Some even consider him an alien - so imagine how inspiring for a generation it is; to see a mere mortal go toe to toe with an alien through sheer discipline, diligence and dedication.

Do you know how many young people are pushing themselves to the limit because they’ve seen in CR7 how hard-work can compensate for what they may lack in talent?

That’s more than influence - that’s a religion.
