I'm fully aware of what our football program is and what it isn't.

Beacuse we didn't invest in the program pre-2000, there's a notion that we're awful to the likes of South Carolina, NC State, Maryland and other fans who post their overall records or screenshots of winspedia.

What these casuals leave out is they don't look at the last 20-30 years. Why that timespan? Because that's when college athletics blew up and the current athletes were born. They've grown up with Wake being a better program than a lot of others. This isn't the 70s anymore.
