@JaniceDean Direct admit wherever you choose - easy to switch out of the program, but nearly impossible to transfer in. Plus, the competition for outside seats for the DPT grad programs is fierce - sometimes only 5 seats out of 40 open and hundreds of apps submitted to each school.
@TheEXECUTlONER_ Walked out to the same scene the other morning. Luckily, mine put a little effort in and kicked her way out of it while I was getting a leadrope to use to pull her over. (And no, it looks close in the photo, but she was at least 10 feet away from the fence).
@JDaredevil2 32 week b/g twins. 23yo now. 14 days in the NICU. Both athletic, honor students. One a graduated and employed engineer, the other in her second year of a doctorate PT program. Premies can thrive!
My daughter is in her second year of DPT grad school, and she's been required to undergo (and pay for) annual background checks, including fingerprinting, etc, for the past 3 or 4 years for observation and clinicals. She's a student, if she has any kind of infractions on her record, she's dropped from the program.
This is a Jesuit school with a strong emphasis on serving others, which makes it even sadder. There were good, kind, caring students, but the percentage that weren't was shocking. It was also very competitive, and my daughter said most of the pre-med students didn't participate in study groups because ranking was everything. No one wanted to help anyone else. Compare this to my son, who went to a Top 10 engineering state college, which was also competitive, but big study groups working together to solve problems and prep for exams were the norm.
We just completed the loan process for a second/vacation home. It was akin to a financial colonoscopy. They found info I didn't even know about (hubby's name mispelled somewhere, listed in the aka section). There's no way someone gets away with this kind of fraud without the lender looking the other way.
@Angenette5@LawCrimeNetwork Good for them. I think Kohberger is sitting there reveling in hearing about the pain he caused the victims and their families.
