BUT, I'm just happy the game is back! And I'm happy to have such a great community to back me up during this process :) So thanks everyone for your support, it means a lot!

There's also the fact that it took, well, four days. Which honestly that much in the grand scheme of things, and also not much in the grand scheme of Roblox appeals. But still. Each day lost can be a pretty big hit, especially for smaller creators. Not everybody can come back from that.

@alxiyo @Roblox I've submitted an appeal and more recently contacted DevRel. Hoping to hear back from them soon. :p

Haven't made a Dev Forum post yet I may do that tomorrow if the game is still down.

My @Roblox game Mini Cities 2 has been banned for over 48 hours for “Sharing Personal Information”.

What personal information you might ask?

I don’t know. You build a city. That’s the game. I have no idea where this got this from.

@bufforbitplz @Roblox That's my second personal head canon but according to Roblox's own definition of personal information, nothing in that news letter should be a problem.

(Granted this is from their advertising policies, I could find a generalized definition)

But, anyways. That’s about it :L I still think Roblox is a great platform at its core despite its major flaws. But these flaws should be talked about.

The game being down will be a hit to my personal finances, but as long as it gets reinstated relatively quickly, I’ll be able to rebound with no issues.

If you wanna support me and MC2 in the meantime, then the best thing you can do is spread the word. Report this post, make a fuss, and make some noise. Awareness goes a long way.

But that’s enough yapping from me, I’ll probably won’t say anything more until the game is back.

Ok now to address that massive elephant in the room who’s just kind of been lumbering about for awhile. Kind of weird we didn’t talk about him first but oh well.

Roblox’s moderation is severely and fundamentally flawed. The fact that all blatantly predatory and inappropriate games are strewn all over the site is frankly just insane. And my game’s the one that gets banned?

It’s not even necessarily that these games exist; it’s a public platform of course there’s gonna be some rotten content. It’s just that these games are so accessible and so prominent that almost any pre-pubescent child with a half developed brain can walk right into them. That’s the real issue here.
