Boqvist's impact and depth for the bottom six have been tremendous through his first 7 GP back in a #NJDevils sweater, sniping 3G and 4PTS!

Can’t wait to chat with him about it rinkside on our @DevilsMSGN Pregame Show, live during warmups! 🔥

For those who listened to just the audio portion of our
@TheDevilsEdge podcast last night, here is the accompanying video of Gritz' "foul" goal that @KeithKavJr and I broke down.

4 goals in the last 5 games; he's on a heater! 🔥#NJDevils

[Keith Kavanaugh @KeithKavJr]

Puck battles were a message from Monday’s #NJDevils practice that translated over to the #GoAvsGo game on Tuesday.

Jake Allen’s 500th game celebration. Connor Brown’s first game back. Arseny Gritsyuk’s highlight reel goal. Dougie Hamilton & Timo Meier’s impacts.

Great team effort as they look to carry it over to tonight vs #FlyTogether

[The Devils Edge @TheDevilsEdge]

No changes to the #NJDevils lines tonight.

Looks like Daws will be in net, per Amanda.

[Amanda Stein @amandacstein]

No changes for #NJDevils as they head into their matchup against the Ducks tonight.

Lombardi and Dillon are out.

Nico Daws took the first line rep, so I imagine he’s starting. We’ll see if he’s first off.

[Keith Kavanaugh @KeithKavJr]

Here are the top 5 #NJDevils skaters so far this season at 5v5 on-ice xG+/- via HockeyStats

1. Hamilton: 5.00
2. Bratt: 3.95
3. Siegenthaler: 3.63
4. J. Hughes: 3.43
5. Gritsyuk: 3.11

Of players still on the roster who have played more than 2 games, not a single guy is in the negatives. Very strong process at 5v5.

Thrilled that Downtown Brown is back in the #NJDevils lineup tonight! I'm also excited to see how quickly he and his linemates, Glass and Boqvist, develop chemistry.

Tune in at 6:30 p.m. for a rinkside chat with him during our @DevilsMSGN Pregame Show!

#NEWS: We've loaned F Stefan Noesen to Utica (AHL).
We've activated F Connor Brown off Injured Reserve.

[Keith Kavanaugh @KeithKavJr]

If that is the case, the #NJDevils would need to make a corresponding move to activate Connor Brown from the IR.

Stefan Noesen would not need to clear waivers again to go to Utica as he has not been on the NHL roster for 10 games or 30 cumulative days.

Amadeus Lombardi is no longer waivers-exempt so he would need waivers if he was the player to be sent down.

[Amanda Stein @amandacstein]

Based on jersey colors today, I think Connor Brown is going to make his season debut for #NJDevils tonight.

Noesen and Lombardi are in blue jerseys, designated as extras.

[Bryce Salvador @brycesalvador]

Today's practice included 1v1 and wall-battle drills. Sheldon emphasized high intensity and competition after yesterday's day off. #NJDevils @TheDevilsEdge

[The Devils Edge @TheDevilsEdge]

Brown and Evangelista on the ice. These 3 not on the ice as practice gets underway for the #NJDevils

Amanda will get an update from Sheldon after practice.

[Amanda Stein @amandacstein]

Jesper Bratt, Anthony Mantha and Cody Glass are absent from today's #NJDevils practice.

Will catch up with Sheldon Keefe after practice for an update.

[Keith Kavanaugh @KeithKavJr]

The #NJDevils practice at 11am today.

Luke Evangelista and Connor Brown look close to return. The Devils will need to clear a roster spot in order to activate Brown off IR since they are currently maxed out at 23. Who comes out if both are good to go Tuesday and who gets sent down?

On defense I wonder if Brenden Dillon gets back into the lineup Tuesday. Strong veteran presence and locker room guy. The defense wasn’t good enough Saturday so a change there could make sense.

In net I expect status quo. One of Allen or Daws will get 2 games this week and the other gets 1. Not sure which order.

Jake Allen will start in goal today for #NJDevils v Washington
