Contrary to belief, “Dox” is short for Paradox - the prefix name I held for a SecondLife character I had eons ago. As Paradox is a really popular game name, “Dox” worked better both as a short name & character name. & no, I’m not going to leak your personal info - that’s if I had two X’s in my name.
Awareness for those who want to support content creators, & not content thieves.
@OYourNameHereO loves stealing videos off YouTube & other platforms, & never credit the actual content creators on their actual platforms.
Don’t be a “JustJamie”, credit the content creators you are posting. Bringing awareness to them is one thing - uploading their content for your own monetization is scummy.
@tree6500 It’s not my issue to solve, only pointing out content theft. Enjoy your day, & hoping to enlighten others to credit the creators who make the content that you (& others) post here or on other platforms.
When you take someone’s video & upload it in your post, it’s not a repost or a quote post - thus, the content is stolen & is a form of theft.
This gentleman is a YouTube Creator, not an X creator. If he had posted this on X, he would be credited in the video with his X handle & other content.
When you take a video from YouTube & upload it to X natively, it’s Content Theft.
@TheDoxFox@OYourNameHereO I can't speak for any of that. You said reposting didn't give credit when the repost and quote features on X are, in fact, paths made to give credit.
For narcissists who hate having rain on their personal stats parade
It’s not trolling when you take content from Youtube, reupload it for your Twitter account, & don’t credit the origin’s content. It’s content theft.
You’re unhappy you got called out on someone’s creativity for your own engagement clout, & blocking me doesn’t absolve your shittiness as a human stealing from someone’s hard work to entertain others while you add a single sentence over the video.
I know it’s habitual too as there are several videos you’ve taken from other creators & not credited their sources so others can give them the views they deserved, not you.
This isn’t a repost - this is a reupload from the content maker onto this person’s poster’s account, who didn’t edit anything of the video to make it theirs yet can earn engagement revenue now for people chatting, clicking, & viewing the video they had no part in making. Likewise, those that want to support this gentleman have no leads to his name, content source, or where to support him for making what @OYourNameHereO stole for their own
No.
It doesn’t.
Adding a quip in a post doesn’t identify the original maker, thus it doesn’t credit the author. It’s the same as the early 2010’s when reply gals on YouTube would start a video with barely any content or context other than “check out what I found & check out my (website)”, then reload someone’s video with no alterations or credit while monetizing the video.
@vexmlk I like to talk, like to interject when warranted, & happily ready to brush all the flak off my shoulder when it’s all done so that there isn’t residual bullshit afterwards.
