Ivan Kharchenkov was a bit of a surprise player during his freshman season at Arizona, breaking onto the scene as an active, aggressive defender with a tremendous motor that projects to fit into winning basketball at the next level. Many evaluators have Kharchenkov as a fringe lottery pick but believe he could end up higher if he continues to add to his offensive bag and can be an improved three-point shooter.

Last season, Kharchenkov averaged 10.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.7 stocks per game while shooting 49.2 percent from the field and 31.7 percent from three.

Offensively, Kharchenkov doesn’t overcomplicate things. He is a smart off-ball mover who is a high-level cutter, especially back door.  Kharchenkov is great in transition and is a smart decision-maker in the open floor. His shooting remains his big swing skill, but if he can progress forward as a better shooter, his offensive profile is perfectly suited for the modern NBA. Kharchenkov is constantly moving off the ball, looking for ways to create space and become the open man for his teammates to hit on the perimeter.

On the ball, Kharchenkov is growing. With the ball, he has the athleticism and strength needed to bully defenders on his way to the rim. He already has a solid handle for a 6-foot-7 wing and is a solid operator in the pick-and-roll with a natural feel as a playmaker. He also provides a ton of upside as a connective passer who knows when to make that extra pass and is a timely passer. Shot creation, along with his outside shooting, remain the two areas of Kharchenkov’s offensive game that scouts want to see progress. With a bigger role at AZ this season, the ball is bound to be in his hands more, so it’ll be fun to see how he progresses with more usage.

Defensively, Kharchenkov is exactly what you want in a modern wing. He’s tough, physical, fights hard through screens and contact, has a great frame, can switch up and down the lineup, and has great instincts. He’s also very disciplined on the ball, averaging under two fouls per game in over 28 minutes per game for the Wildcats last season.

Overall, Kharchenkov has the makeup of an ideal role-playing modern NBA wing, the question is now: is there another level he can reach with more on-ball reps? The highlights below are from an exhibition game this summer between Arizona and Lithuania where Kharchenkov went off for 30 points. In the win, he flashed some of what he may be looking to show all season in a larger role at AZ this season.

[Draftstack @TheDraftstack]

Caleb Holt enters the 2026 college basketball season as one of the freshmen best positioned to compete for a national championship. After an incredible season last year for Arizona led by two freshmen, Brayden Burries and Koa Peat, Holt now arrives looking to deliver even better results. At 6’5”, Holt is a two-way guard who plays with a ton of hustle and intensity and is always looking to make the winning play before padding his own stats.

You don’t typically start with a guard prospect, but Holt’s most intriguing trait is his rebounding. During AZ’s international tour this summer, Holt averaged 9.3 rebounds per game and consistently closed out possessions on the defensive glass and created second chances on the offensive boards. He has a ton of vertical pop that helps him get high up and snatch rebounds with his impressive wingspan. Holt also has a near NBA-ready body that allows him to outmuscle and box out opposing players really well. He has a tremendous motor, and when paired with his physical tools, it can make him a force on the glass both ways.

His ability to close out possessions on the defensive glass helps him offensively, as Holt is great at starting the break himself or moving the ball up the court quickly. It’s so fun to watch him pull down a defensive rebound and immediately push the break, looking to score at the rim. Holt has a quick first step and is very coordinated when attacking the rim, often hop-stepping his way through defenders on his way to finishing at the basket. He is a great vertical athlete and finishes well above the rim.

Beyond finishing, his offensive game is still evolving. Holt struggled with efficiency during the international tour, but many evaluators didn’t think his shot selection was bad; he was just struggling to get shots to drop. He has solid jump shot mechanics and is capable of being a catch-and-shoot shooter and pull-up shooter in the mid-range. This part of his game, along with general self-creation ability, is still an area for improvement. If it wasn’t, he’d probably be a lock for the top three on most people's boards because of all the other winning traits he has.

Playmaking-wise, there is still work to be done, but Holt more often than not makes the right read, especially in drive-and-kick scenarios. Tightening his handle and becoming someone who teams feel like can be a lead handler at the NBA level would do wonders for his stock.

Holt is also a very physical player, which helps him play through contact both as a driver and as a defender. Defensively, Holt is always willing to put his body on the line, which only helps his projection because he is already super talented and has ideal physical tools. He is very active as a defender, both in passing lanes as a playmaker and as a help defender. Things rarely slip by him on that end as his head seems to always be on a swivel.

When it comes to pro comps for Holt, some of the common ones are Jrue Holiday, Josh Hart and a bigger Cason Wallace. That should tell you all you need to know about what Holt projects to be as a prospect—a winner. If the Wildcats can replicate any of the magic they had last season, Holt will play a big part in it.

[Draftstack @TheDraftstack]

Aesthetically, there is probably no more pleasing player archetype than the shot-making, bucket-getting guard. While this style of player has become less common in the NBA, Missouri commit and 2026 freshman guard Jason Crowe Jr. could reverse that trend.

Crowe Jr. is the second-highest-ranked recruit Mizzou has ever landed, behind Michael Porter Jr. and is expected to be the focal point of their offense this season. Crowe Jr. is coming off a legendary senior season where he averaged 43.6 points per game. The lefty bucket-getter's scoring remained elite even against tougher competition, leading all players on the Nike EYBL circuit with 23.6 points per game. He’s so confident in his scoring ability and is built to make and take big-time shots.

His scoring bag is deep, and he projects to be one of the SEC’s most potent three-level scorers during his freshman season. He’s at his best when pushing the pace, but he balances that with good control and a tight enough handle to avoid being a turnover machine. He loves getting to the hoop after exposing defenders in isolation, as Crowe Jr.’s handle provides the pathway to breaking down opposing guards on the perimeter.

He finishes well at the rim, but there is questions about how transferable his success as a finisher will be to the college game. He has a strong pull-up mid-range game and is a great inside-the-arc shot creator. From the perimeter, he can catch-and-shoot and needs only a small window to get his shot off cleanly, often using on-ball screens to create space, and he can be a flamethrower from well beyond the arc. His three-point improvement over the past couple of high school years is why he could break the mold and have a different NBA path than your average high-volume scoring guard in the league. If he can maintain high-volume three-point shooting and efficiency, Crowe Jr. could be fighting for one of the top guard spots in the 2027 NBA Draft class.

Because of the role Crowe Jr. played in high school, he's often not viewed as a high-end playmaking prospect, but when he’s asked to create for his teammates, he’s more than capable. If he can show scouts he can balance his score-first mentality with the playmaking that traditional lead guards are tasked with, his outlook as a prospect can shift from just another scorer to a full-blown, high-potential lead guard.

Defensively, he is very willing to defend and put in effort on that side of the ball. He has good lateral quickness and could develop into a solid defender for a player who shoulders as big a load as he does on the offensive end.

Crowe Jr. is a unique guard talent with an incredibly high ceiling and a ton of scoring ability going into his freshman year. If he can show there’s more to his game than just scoring, while continuing to shoot the three-ball well, he could be one of the most interesting guard prospects in the 2027 NBA Draft class.

[Draftstack @TheDraftstack]

David Mirkovic's projection as an NBA player feels very easy. If there are two things the modern NBA has taught us teams value, it’s rebounding and floor spacing.

The Illinois forward provided both in his freshman year and is only expected to provide more in his sophomore season. Last season, Mirkovic averaged 13.3 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game, while shooting 48.4 percent from the field.

Starting with his offensive game, the biggest draw to Mirkovic is that, at 6-foot-9, he can really stroke the outside jumper. Last season, he shot 37.5 percent from deep on 4.1 attempts per game. He’s best as a trail three-point shooter or in the pick-and-pop, but also has shown the ability to dribble and pull up from three and step into outside jumpers when the defense isn’t respecting him as a shooter.

Mirkovic is also a capable ball handler and is solid at operating the pick-and-roll, showing off the ability to make quick decisions as a playmaker last season. His handle could use some tightening, and so could his general passing, but the upside as a third or even secondary creator is there. When it comes to scoring at the rim, he has good footwork on the inside and plays with a jerky type of finesse that can throw off opposing forwards when he’s attacking the rim. He has a solid touch, and if he can become a little more efficient as a play finisher at the rim, his offensive bag will be more sound.

On the glass, Mirkovic is a monster. He has the ideal combination of positioning, strength, and motor that makes him a rebounding machine and someone who, when he’s on the court, a coach can feel comfortable that possessions will be getting closed out defensively. Another layer to his offense is a byproduct of his rebounding, as Mirkovic crashing the offensive glass has made him that floor-spacing, possession-extending archetype. Whether it’s him scoring a putback or a kickout to his teammate for three, his ability to consistently create second chances is something NBA scouts are going to continue to fall in love with.

Defensively, he isn’t someone who projects as a multi-position guy or an elite stopper, but he’s a really good team defender that brings a ton of hustle to that side of the ball. His so-so athleticism can see him get burned at times, but he’s a solid weak-side rim protector and has a good understanding of rotations and anticipates things well.

Overall, Mirkovic is a high-motor floor spacer, and in the modern NBA, teams are always going to draft guys with those skills. His energy fits winning basketball, and with an improved inside scoring bag and handle, he could even be someone who gets a lottery grade from some scouts.

Australia’s next high-feel star Luke Paul is heading to Duke for the 2027-28 season.

Check out Draftstack’s Chris Lambert’s (@CLambertmedia) deepdive on the rising Aussie star at the link in the replies below! ⬇️

[Draftstack @TheDraftstack]

The NBA’s Australia pipeline has found maybe its biggest prospect since Ben Simmons, with 2027 high school class guard Luke Paul committing to Duke for the 2027-28 campaign. Paul made his announcement Thursday on ESPN with Brian Windhorst.

You may recognize the name Luke Paul from his incredible play leading Australia to a bronze medal in the FIBA U17 World Cup this summer. In that tournament, Paul averaged 15.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 7.1 assists per game and was named to the tournament's All-Star Five.

Paul is a tall guard at 6’6” whose primary draw is his incredible table-setting ability. Similar to other big Aussie prospects like Josh Giddey, Dyson Daniels and Ben Simmons, he has an incredible feel for the game. While he can be overaggressive as a passer, resulting in his 4.7 turnovers-per-game average at the World Cup, he’s so skilled as a playmaker. Paul reads the court extremely well, knows how to manipulate defenders in the pick-and-roll, can make quick reads when help is sent at him, and has a craftiness to his passing that makes him prone to highlight plays, especially in the open floor. His handle is tight, and he rarely gets stripped.

As a scorer, Paul isn’t a finished product, as his finishing could use some work. He has good touch around the rim and can finish above the hoop, but his thinner 190-pound frame can see him struggle with contact. And if he wants to see his assist numbers rise, being able to consistently put pressure on the rim would help do that.

His outside shot is pretty, as he has aesthetically pleasing shooting mechanics. While his attempts were low, below 3 per game, he did shoot 55.6 percent from three in the World Cup this summer. He’s better off the catch, which makes him project well to either guard spot in the pros. But if he wants to reach his highest ceiling, being able to score from the perimeter off the dribble will be a skill he must develop.

Defensively, Paul is an active playmaker, averaging 2.7 stocks per game at the World Cup. Because of his length and height, he’s able to be effective at jumping passing lanes. His overall basketball IQ helps too, as he reads opposing offenses well, knows when to rotate, and uses his length as a recovery tool.

Many evaluators have called Duke’s latest commit Australia’s best prospect since Ben Simmons, and it’s not hard to see why after turning on his tape. His feel and passing skill are so ahead of schedule, and the other traits are catching up.

With a strong developmental structure in place as he joins Cairns Taipans as part of the NBL’s Next Stars program next season, then spends time at Duke in 2027-28, it’s not crazy to assume his development will only continue to trend upward.

Meet Neoklis Avdalas, who some of you may remember from last season when the Virginia Tech freshman was receiving Luka Doncic comparisons after just two games.

Early into the 2025 college season, Avdalas looked like the complete package: shooting, size, playmaking, a strong handle, downhill scoring, rebounding, and even some defensive flashes. However, he quickly came back down to earth and decided to stay in college for another year, transferring from Tech to UNC to team up with Mike Malone.

In his freshman campaign, he averaged 12.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 1.1 stocks per game.

Although Avdalas' draft range is all over the place going into the 2026-27 college season, his tools and size at 6’9” give him a ton of upside both as a college player and a potential 2027 NBA Draft prospect.

Offensively, Avdalas can offer a lot. He’s at his best with the rock in his hands, operating in the pick-and-roll and creating for himself or his teammates when getting downhill. His feel for the game helps make him the playmaker he is, as he knows how to manipulate defenders and process his reads to locate the open man or someone with an advantage. His processing speed as a passer was impressive for a freshman and helps his projection as a point forward in the pros. Overall, he looked really comfortable with the ball in his hands the majority of the time last year.

As a scorer, he has a ton of upside. Avdalas gets downhill and can score at the rim in a variety of ways, but does struggle with contact at times and can be thrown off against physical defenders. He needs to improve his upper-body strength and add to his overall frame to become a more efficient finisher at the rim.

Shot-making-wise, Avdalas isn’t afraid to let it fly from anywhere on the court, and while that’s great when he’s making shots, it can be a tough watch when he isn’t. He’s a capable shot creator with a strong stepback and sidestep game from three that he is very confident in. But his efficiency needs to improve drastically to be viewed as a real prospect in the 2027 class, as his 38.6 percent from the field and 31.4 percent from three aren’t going to have NBA scouts circling his name. He also settles for jumpers too often, which may partly be due to his lack of strength, giving him another reason to hit the gym.

His thin frame also negatively affects him as a rebounder. Even though he can still impact the boards, a stronger frame could raise his ceiling as a crasher and play extender on the glass.

Defensively, Avdalas has a lot of work to do. Obviously, his size gives him a good foundation, especially as a shot blocker, but his frame saw him get bullied, and his poor footwork and mediocre athleticism saw him be a liability in a lot of perimeter matchups.

On the offensive end, the shot creation, IQ, size, and skills are all really intriguing, but without efficiency and an improved frame he isn’t as intriguing as he could be. Avdalas needs to show he can be a more consistent scorer and improve at playing against higher-level defenders. Defensively, his footwork and positioning need work because, even though he doesn’t have incredible athleticism, his length provides a solid starting point.

Going into his sophomore season in a new place, Avdalas has a lot of work to do to convince scouts he’s ready to make the jump from college to the pros. But he has the upside and is going to a situation that creates a pathway to doing so.

[Draftstack @TheDraftstack]

Meet coach John Calipari’s latest demon freshman guard, Jordan Smith Jr. At 6’2”, 205 pounds, Smith Jr. is a stocky, physical, tough guard and a true two-way talent, and one of the projected top-five picks in the 2027 NBA Draft class. He’s a freakish athlete with explosive speed, plus length and a ton of upside entering his freshman season with the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Offensively, Smith Jr. thrives in the open floor, using his speed and athleticism to push the pace in transition and score downhill or by spraying the ball out to an open shooter or hitting a running mate for a lob. His decision-making is much quicker and more precise in the open floor, as at times he gets in his own head in the halfcourt and can make questionable reads. Smith Jr. plays well through contact because of his broad shoulders and big frame for his position, and he's creative and skilled enough to adjust in mid-air on finishes. He gets downhill easily in the halfcourt and has the burst and strength to put other guards in bad spots on his way to the rack.

When it comes to jump shooting, he’s very comfortable in the mid-range with a strong pull-up game and the ability to stop and pop when the defense starts backpedaling on his drives. As far as his outside creation goes, he is capable off the dribble and can catch and shoot from three, but that part of his game is still more of a work in progress than a sure thing. But he is confident in his perimeter scoring and has laid out a good foundation for developing his shooting with his mid-range game.

Defense is where fans can get really excited, as your average 6’2” guard is a liability on the defensive end, but Smith Jr. is the opposite. He’s physical, talented, and has a tremendous motor that really shines on the defensive end. Smith Jr. can guard several positions despite his size. He is really disruptive from the point of attack and extremely active in the passing lanes, which can lead to some fun highlights in the open floor.

He also doesn’t give up on plays.

As you’ll see below in the film, there’s a clip where he gets knocked down by a screen, but pops right back up and forces a steal. That’s the type of hustle teams love, especially from players who are deemed undersized like Smith Jr. His athletic pop also makes him a shot-blocking threat and someone who can come back and chase down an opposing offensive player on the fast break.

One of the things he’ll have to improve ahead of the 2027 NBA Draft is his over-aggressiveness defensively. Often, Smith Jr. tries to do too much defensively and can lose his man. He also does steal-hunting from time to time, which leads to fouls or easy scoring chances for opposing teams. Either way, ask any coach: they’d rather have a defender they have to reel in because he’s too aggressive than have someone who couldn’t care less about defense.

Jordan Smith Jr. is an extremely talented freshman and has the potential to finish this college campaign as the No. 1 player on many NBA scouts’ boards. But for him to really solidify his place as that top guy, he’s going to need to grow as a playmaker in the halfcourt, continue to progress as an outside shooter, and simmer down from time to time on the defensive end.

Attached below are highlights from his 20-point, 11-rebound, 11-assist triple-double against Carleton University in an exhibition game played this summer.

Been waiting for this one to drop!

Matt Able is one of my favorite prospects in the 2027 NBA Draft. His floor looks like a high-end role player, but I see some Klay Thompson-like offensive upside in his game, that can develop with the ball in his hands more at UNC this year!

So happy with how this piece turned out, any and all support would be greatly appreciated❤️

Article attached below

[Ethan Alexander @HoopsSicko]

I’m very curious to see how Matt Able does in a new system. He’s a player who I was high on coming out of high school, but who somewhat underwhelmed during his debut campaign.

Very good defender whose offense will be more relied upon this year, definitely worth monitoring.

[Chris Lambert @CLambertmedia]

Paul McNeil Jr. is as pure of a sniper as they come! Can’t wait to see him shoot the lights out at NC State this upcoming season.

He’s definitely one of my favorite second round sleepers in this 2027 NBA Draft cycle, full breakdown below⬇️⬇️⬇️

Draftstacks’s Chris Lambert (@CLambertmedia) dives in on why UNC’s newest guard has the floor of a high-end role player and the offensive upside to become much more.

Matt Able Deep-dive, check it out at the link in the replies below! ⬇️

[Draftstack @TheDraftstack]

Coming into the 2026 college season, there are very few players who are bigger flamethrowers than Paul McNeil Jr. The now-junior guard had a strong sophomore year with NC State, where he averaged 13.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, 0.8 assists, and 1.0 stock per game while shooting 42.7 percent from three on 7.2 attempts per game.

McNeil Jr. is a unique guard who stands 6'5" with a wingspan that's been reported to be around 7 feet.

The biggest draw to McNeil Jr. is his outside scoring, as once he gets hot, even the fire department can’t cool him off. He thrives off the catch, and the confidence with which he shoots the ball, paired with his fast release, makes it easy for him to catch and pull from deep. McNeil Jr. doesn’t really have a strict range, as he is super comfortable shooting while beyond the three-point line. He’s great at relocating off the ball to get a clean look, and is also a capable pull-up shooter from deep.

Because he’s such a threat from deep, defenses have to respect him, which can open up lanes to attack downhill for his teammates. NBA teams look for this trait and love to surround star players with it.

Outside of his perimeter scoring, the rest of his offensive bag is so-so. McNeil Jr. isn’t a high-level self-creator, as his handle is rather loose for a guard and can result in turnovers when he’s playing on the ball. He also isn’t a good playmaker and is viewed way more as the shoot-hunting type of guard than someone you can rely on to drive your offense from the point.

At 190 lbs, McNeil Jr. is rather thin-framed, and it can affect his downhill scoring as he can get pushed around and outmatched physically on drives.

On the defensive end, the upside is there. As mentioned, McNeil Jr. has a reported near 7-foot wingspan, which gives him a ton of upside to be disruptive defensively in passing lanes and on the ball. It can also give him an advantage when rebounding against other guards and wings. The issue with McNeil Jr. defensively is consistency, as he can be undisciplined and lose focus on that side of the basketball at times. If he wants to be viewed as more than just another shooter in the 2027 NBA Draft class, improving defensively would be one way to do that.

Although Paul McNeil Jr. may currently profile as a specialist, he has upside to become much more than a pure shooter. If he can add muscle to help him when driving the ball, tighten his handle, improve his reads as a playmaker, and lock in more on defense, he could be a really well-rounded long guard. But even if he doesn’t develop one or two of those traits, he’ll be in real consideration to be drafted in the second round of the 2027 NBA Draft class.

These highlights are from his game against Texas Southern last season, where he exploded for 47 points and tied the ACC single-game record with 11 made three-pointers, shooting 11-of-17 from deep.

[Chris Lambert @CLambertmedia]

Personal one for me as a Gators fan. I’m really interested to see what Tommy Haugh can do this year at UF! I could see him cracking the top 15 in this 2027 class

Breakdown below: ⬇️⬇️⬇️

[Draftstack @TheDraftstack]

Thomas Haugh made the interesting decision to return to Florida for his senior season and wrap up his Gators career before jumping ship to the NBA. Despite being a projected first-round pick by most outlets for the 2026 class, Haugh wanted to put the final stamp on his legacy at UF. This has put Haugh in an interesting position ahead of the 2027 NBA Draft, as his junior season was almost as good as it could get; it seems difficult to envision a major leap after such an impressive season.

Last season, Haugh averaged 17.1 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 2.1 stocks per game while shooting 46.0 percent from the field and 32.6 percent from three.

Offensively, Haugh is versatile. He excels in the open floor, running and finding lanes to the basket to finish plays. His handle is also strong enough that he can get a defensive rebound, push the break, and make a play either for himself or by finding the open man. Haugh is a smart cutter and is great at creating advantages off the ball. This past season, he grew into a better on-ball player in a bigger role and added a bit of self-creation to his game, as he’s the type of forward that can bully smaller forwards and blow bigger ones. But in the pros, Haugh projects to be more effective as an off-ball player than as someone with the spotlight on him.

His jump shot is still a work in progress, but it has progressed nicely, and despite a small percentage dip from his sophomore to junior season, his attempts nearly doubled. If Haugh can reach that 36-37 percent range in his senior year while maintaining the other parts of his game, he’ll be in lottery consideration.

Defensively, Haugh projects to be a good connective defender who can be a solid defensive playmaker as a rim protector and perimeter stopper. He moves his feet well enough to stay strong in most switches, but likely will never be a truly elite defender in the NBA.

Beyond his scoring upside and defensive projection, Haugh's biggest defensive draw is his motor and basketball IQ. The intangibles. The things coaches can’t teach and players can’t learn. That’s what makes projecting Haugh as an impactful role player at the NBA level so easy. Whether it’s crashing the offensive glass and creating second chances, the toughness he plays with, his connective passing, or unselfish plays, all of those traits make him the type of player any winning team would target in the first 20 picks of a draft. Haugh has insane energy that, with one play, can help him swing the momentum of a game. On top of that is the pedigree he’s established in college as a winning player and someone who has worked hard for every minute increase and role upgrade he’s earned.

Every team needs glue guys, and Haugh could be one of the best in the 2027 NBA Draft class; he just needs to keep doing what he's done at Florida. Which may be easier said than done.

[Draftstack @TheDraftstack]

Meet one of the most interesting guard prospects in the 2027 High School class, Javion Tyndale. The Canadian guard recently committed to Seton Hall after a summer that included leading the Canada U18 National Team to their first U18 Men's AmeriCup gold medal. Tyndale had 19 points, 8 assists and 3 steals in the 67-65 win. For the tournament, he averaged 12.6 points, 6.0 assists, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per game.

Tyndale is a quick, speedy, and shifty guard who excels at getting downhill and finishing at the rim. But what makes him different from other top guards is that Tyndale is a 5’8” point guard.

That’s not a typo. Tyndale is very undersized for a potential NBA prospect, but he makes up for what he lacks in height with heart. Obviously that is an old cliché, but with Tyndale it’s really his calling card. He plays hard on both ends and never takes possessions off, constantly looking to make plays.

Offensively, he has a speedy first step that helps him beat opposing guards off the dribble, and that, paired with a tight handle, helps him excel at getting downhill and to the rim. He’s a creative scorer who can finish with both hands and is built for drawing contact, but because of his size, he can struggle in traffic or heavy defensive pressure around the rim. Tyndale is a great game manager and knows how to conduct an offense, get his teammates in rhythm, and help the offense find a real flow early.

Three-point shooting is obviously going to be the major swing skill with Tyndale. The NBA has told evaluators time and time again to be viewed highly as an undersized guard; you need to be a threat from deep. He’s a capable shooter, but because of his height, he can struggle to get his shot off, shooting 25 percent in EYBL and 24 percent from three in FIBA.

Defensively, he guards really well. He knows how to use his smaller stature to get under bigger lead guards and poke the ball to start a fast break. Tyndale’s got good hands, and while he plays with an aggressive style that often sees him pick players up full court, he’s also super disciplined. The intensity and energy he brings on the defensive end can be a real tone setter.

Tyndale does have a tough road ahead of him to establish his place as a real NBA prospect. But the drive and confidence he brings to the court, along with the way he flat-out impacts winning, help his projection for sure. Tyndale is gearing up for a final season with Montverde Academy, which should be one final step in his positive development before starting his collegiate career with Seton Hall in the fall of 2027.
