‘Thrice the Tension, Triple the Thrills..’
What started as an official Hindi remake of a Malayalam film has evolved into an extraordinary franchise. From 2nd October memes to pav bhaji and satsang, the Salgaonkar family has won over audiences nationwide. After two massive hits, Drishyam 3 arrives with sky-high expectations and successfully delivers a thriller that fully satisfies fans.
The Setup: Picking up after the events of Drishyam 2, Meera (Tabu) and Mahesh Deshmukh (Rajat Kapoor) remain relentless in their pursuit of justice for their son. They join forces with a sharp Crime Branch SP, played by Jaideep Ahlawat, and hire a top-tier lawyer, played by Prakash Raj, to finally put Vijay Salgaonkar (Ajay Devgn) and his family behind bars.
The story takes its time to set up initially, but kicks into high gear with impactful introductions for Jaideep Ahlawat and Kamlesh Sawant (reprising his iconic role as Gaitonde). The interrogation sequences, the high-stakes face-off between Jaideep and Ajay, and the interval block are solid. While the pace dips slightly in places, the second half transforms into a high-speed thriller featuring an engaging courtroom drama. The final 30 minutes deliver an avalanche of twists and turns that give audiences exactly what they hoped for. The sub-track involving the judge is a bit weak, but easily negligible.
Director Abhishek Pathak departs slightly from the original Malayalam narrative path to craft an independent, highly engaging version that lands effectively.
#AjayDevgn is brilliant as always, anchoring the film effortlessly as Vijay Salgaonkar. #JaideepAhlawat delivers an outstanding performance, matching Ajay step-for-step. #Kamlesh Sawant and #PrakashRaj deliver strong, impactful performances. #ShriyaSaran, #Tabu, #RajatKapoor, and #IshitaDutta provide reliable, high-quality support.
Drishyam 3 delivers thrice the tension and thrice the thrills, offering a thoroughly satisfying continuation of the saga. A must-watch for fans of the franchise.

#Batwara1947 Review
‘Embrace This Different Side Of Sunny Deol..’
Garam Hawa was one of the first films of its kind based on the India-Pakistan Partition, followed by some more power-packed films and shows such as Pinjar, Tamas, Train to Pakistan, 1947 Earth, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and a few more, including the recently released Main Vaapas Aaunga. The latest to join this niche list is Batwara 1947, which is based on the popular play Jis Lahore Nahin Dekhiya.
Batwara 1947 narrates a beautifully written tale about the bond between a Muslim family staying in the house of a Hindu lady in Pakistan, just after the Partition. The first half takes a lot of time to establish the plot and also has some side plots running alongside it. Though there are some good scenes, such as Sunny escaping on a train, Sunny and his family meeting Shabana for the first time, and Abhimanyu Singh at Sunny’s house. But besides that, the screenplay is super stretched in the first half and goes into a repetitive mode. The second half slowly picks up pace, and we are treated to some fiery scenes of Sunny Deol when he has a face-off with Abhimanyu Singh, saves Shabana Azmi, or shows his anger at the police station, followed by an outstanding finale.
It’s good to see #SunnyDeol in such a different yet familiar avatar. This will be among his best works for sure. #ShabanaAzmi charms once again with her ace and fine performance. It’s so good to see #PreityZinta in a film; she looks great and does her part with grace. Ali Fazal is wasted. #KaranDeol is fine in his part and has one strong scene to cherish. #AbhimanyuSingh is powerful and justifies his role.
Music by #ARRahman is good but not great. Tabassum is a fantastic song and one of #SonuNigam’s best. Hum Mooh Mod Ke is good. The rest are average.
It’s good to see #RajkumarSantoshi in his element after back-to-back debacles. Though it’s not his best, he still has his touch, especially in the second half of the film. Wished the same was maintained throughout the film, with a more crisp and impactful pace.
So, on an overall basis, Batwara 1947 will make you embrace this different side of Sunny Deol, and the second half will be loved by people who enjoy good cinema. For all his hardcore fans, well, let’s wait for his next action entertainer, as this is definitely not your cup of tea.

#Awarapan2 Movie Review
‘Toh Phir Aao Into The Nostalgic & Stylish World Of Emraan Hashmi’s Cinema…’
Video - https://t.co/howBT2h9O6
Shivam returns with his pain, scars and rage, and Awarapan 2 beautifully carries forward the emotional soul of the original while going bigger in scale, action and cinematic experience.
Stylish Bangkok locations, powerful dialogues, hard-hitting action and soulful music give the film a distinct retro-yet-contemporary feel. “Phir Aao” & “Tera Mera Rishta” bring back the nostalgia and sound even better on the big screen.
#EmraanHashmi is completely in his element, intense, vulnerable and effortlessly cool. Puran is superb, #DishaPatani adds charm, while #ShabanaAzmi brings power to her role.
A rare sequel that feels like a genuine continuation of Shivam’s journey while also introducing a new generation to the magic of Emraan Hashmi cinema.

So apparently, #TheIndiaStory is a torture fest despite a fantastic performance by #ShreyasTalpade.
It had all the potential to be a daring, path-breaking film, but it ended up being a weak, stretched, and lethargic watch.
Celebrating the truly well-deserved success of #MainVaapasAaunga with Jiya (Sharvari), Keenu (Vedang Raina) and the magician himself, Imtiaz Ali. ✨
From chatting about some of the film's most unforgettable moments and its soul-stirring music to recreating one of its most iconic scenes with Sharvari, every moment was special. And the beautiful film souvenir as a return gift was truly the cherry on top. ❤️
Congratulations to the entire team on creating a film that continues to touch hearts. ✨

#UttarDaPuttar - Movie Review:
A Delightful Mix of Comedy, Drama & Twists in the Right Direction....
The 70s era witnessed the rise of middle-of-the-road cinema, spearheaded by directors like Hrishikesh Mukherjee and Basu Chatterjee. These films featured slice-of-life stories about common people, made on limited budgets with talented actors and a proper dose of entertainment. Over time, such films gained wider acceptance, and with the rise of the multiplex era, they came to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with mainstream big-budget entertainers. We saw ace actors, from Naseeruddin Shah, Om Puri, Amol Palekar, and Farooq Sheikh to Abhay Deol, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Sanjay Mishra, and many others, showcase their acting prowess while delivering some memorable and entertaining films.
Annu Kapoor is one such actor who returns with Uttar Da Puttar, a wholesome family entertainer that amuses while subtly making the audience reflect on the age-old debate between destiny and hard work. Blending comedy, drama, and emotions, the film revolves around a physics professor who firmly believes that every success and failure in life is governed not by science, but by Vastu Shastra and rituals.
The story is simple, relatable, and entertaining. It has shades of films like Khosla Ka Ghosla and a few others, where the common man outsmarts fraudsters. The main plot takes a little time to establish itself, but once it does, it keeps you engaged. There are several enjoyable moments, from Annu Kapoor's attempts to build his house to the sequence where he teaches Pawan Malhotra a lesson.
#AnnuKapoor shines in his role and does complete justice to his character. #RukhsarRehman is sweet and supportive in her part. #PawanMalhotra and #BrijendraKala are very good in their respective roles, while #RajendraSethi lends able support.
On the flip side, the side tracks dilute the film's flow, and movies of this genre require a tighter screenplay along with a stronger finale. However, overall, Uttar Da Puttar is a light, breezy, feel-good film with a decent dose of drama, humour, and twists.
