Your weight/fat loss results are going to depend very little on meal prep, protein intake, step count, gym sessions or water intake
ALL good weight/fat loss results come down to one thing and one thing only

Simple rules allow you to implement small changes in your life without giving anything up major or making drastic changes in your already tight schedule
And so making consistency SO much easier
Which will un turn, make achieving and keeping results, SO much easier
So you then try the next new shiny diet
And the cycle continues
You never truly lose the weight AND keep it off
Instead, what you need to do to increase your chances of being 100% consistent is take action with simple rules
But even if it was fat, and you did lose a lot of weight in the first week of doing Keto, are you going to be able to stick with it consistently?
For 2 weeks maximum
And then it’s back on the comfort eating spiral
You put back on all the weight
You feel terrible
To be honest, you might see some rapid weight loss in the first few days as the body needs water to hold on to carbs in the body so getting rid of carbs = getting rid of water
Getting rid of water = losing weight
But not fat - that’s the important thing here
I see teachers make the same mistake all the time
They try a brand new, shiny diet guaranteed to get them the result they’re after in just 2 weeks
Like Keto for example
“Cut out carbs and you’ll lose 50lbs in 3 days!!!”
HAHA. Not gonna happen
How I manage to work as a full-time teacher, coach, maintain a social life
AND
Maintain a healthy weight, stay on top of my nutrition and get regular daily activity
It wasn’t following a complicated plan
It was abiding by Simple Rules
Here’s how…
I don’t try and implement structured and rigid plans
I follow 3 simple rules every day:
1. NUTRITION - Don’t go above the ceiling with calories
2. MOVEMENT - Reach ‘x’ amount of movement mins for the day
3. MINDSET - Complete 5 min mindset shift activity everyday
