It's not bad enough that my phone OS takes up 20 gigabytes, but I've also got an unknown 20gbs just sat there being all unknown. I have almost 500gb of total storage so it's not too bad but I think I'm going to investigate it anyhow.

@RetroZo_ Oh and this is the longest I've ever had a smart phone without breaking the screen haha. Not so much as a scratch, it looks as new as the day I got it. I picked this one for the system specs mainly and the price point. Came with a minimum of boatyard nonsense too.

@RetroZo_ Flashing phones is relatively simple as I'm sure you're already aware but they do seem to be a bit more brick-happy than other devices although it's nowhere near as bad as it used to be. Back in the early days you often had a 50 50 chance. It's way less common these days.

Of those, most were cheap. Alcatel, or weird Chinese brands. This isn't a particularly expensive phone by phone standards but it's probably the highest end I've had.
