Can't believe the president who scheduled a public execution didn't win the Nobel Peace prize
1. CRISPR came from basic research on bacteria.
2. Optogenetics started with a discovery in algae.
3. The GFP protein comes from jellyfish.
The biggest breakthroughs all trace to scientists follow their curiosity. This is one huge reason why we must keep funding basic research!
Pope Leo XIV: Someone who says 'I'm against abortion' but says 'I'm in favor of the death penalty' is not really pro-life. Someone who says that 'I'm against abortion but I'm in agreement with the inhuman treatment of immigrants who are in the United States,' I don't know if that's pro-life.
