Just before we sat in leavers assembly, we enjoyed a final go noodle movement break. These children always make us smile!

We wanted to take a moment in assembly and in class to say goodbye to two of our Ellis superstars. We are going to miss them very much but wish them every happiness in their new school.

Our brilliant Y6 children set up a fun sports session, The children loved it and Y6 were super leaders and positive role models.

We read a poem called The Magic Box by Kit Wright and then we created our own magic boxes, thinking carefully about things we would put in such as the feel of a hug, my sister’s smile, the smell of chocolate.

In art today we looked at the work of the artist Clarice Cliff. She began doing pottery at the age of 13, she painted her plates, mugs etc in bright colours. She liked using concentric circles and primary colours. Here are some of our interpretations of her plate work.
