"By the way, I'm also a doctor."
There's an actual MDCN rule behind that line.
One doctor tried to claim it.
DDNS Olalere watched what happened next.
It exposes a gap nobody is talking about. ππ§΅

So many unethical medical practices is happening here in Nigeria
I went to a hospital yesterday, I wasnβt feeling too well and they asked me to take a card, I did. They checked my BP and the sort only for the attending nurse to tell me that doctor isnβt on seat and that should they give me injection.
Injection for what exactly? No diagnosis was done or medical screening, you just want to shook my bumbum? I left
This morning, I went to a new one, the doctor was amazing and he recommend d that I go to the Lab so that my blood sample can be tested, only for the medical lab person to approach me without using a glove. I asked her to go use one as it is not right.
These things are becoming rampant in our society and it brings me to asking questions like where are these practitioners from?

π‘ The MDCN rule is REAL.
The system to honour it does not exist in most Nigerian hospitals.
That gap closes when doctors START asking, documenting, and pushing β case by case, hospital by hospital β until institutions are forced to build the process.
@Tejubaby123456@rundriveng Then according to the law the guy, his consultant, other workers are liable.
They all have something to say at the court!
The moment Nigerians start taking things serious, a lot people will go for it.

@RowlandAkpan It depends on the country!
In Nigeria "A conviction for CRIMINAL ABORTION affords ground for DISCIPLINARY action by the Medical and Dental Practitioners' Disciplinary Tribunal"
