Greetings, I'm the Fortnite Complainer.
If you're reading this as a pinned post, I use this account to vent my frustration with the game Fortnite. Some posts may be ragebait, while others are just out there to try and shame Epic Games and make them do better.
(🧵)
If I get sent into cardiac arrest during week 3 from major stress or because of consuming an ungodly amount of caffeine and sugar trying to get gold Pirate Miku, remember that I was one of the many pathetic wretches who took Fortnite's treasure hunts way too seriously.
If first person Battle Royale doesn't launch with Chapter 8 I'm gonna stop playing Fortnite for a long while.
First person would be more than enough to keep me playing the game, because I've been waiting YEARS for first person to be fully polished so the game feels fresh again.

I stg if week 3 of the Fortnite season has a gold Pirate Miku skin as one of the treasure rewards I will cry.
That's literally the only gold skin I would be desperate to get that isn't Asap Rocky or Lil Uzi Vert.
I think getting blocked by Tim Sweeney would be considered an achievement.
"Congrats! You managed to annoy and piss off Epic Games' CEO because of your standpoint with how he's handling Fortnite."
Tim hasn't blocked me yet, but I imagine he will soon.
I'm convinced the pirate token is aimed more at us autistic players because "Tim Swiney" knows people like us would more easily physically and mentally decline ourselves no matter what to get it.
Even if it's not the case, that's seriously how I feel. No changing that.
I never expected my post to blow up so much...
Welp, if I'm in the crosshairs of Tim Sweeney in the morning, I'll know why.
Thanks for all the agreements, confidently incorrections, and insults.
Epic Games can actually get sued over how they're handling the odds with the pirate token in Fortnite.
Number one is that they are LEGALLY REQUIRED to disclose odds of a prize.
Number two is if Epic actually is randomly disabling the token, that's rigging and also very illegal.

Look, I'm not trying to shit on people's parade.
We don't know the odds, we don't know if everyone actually has an equal opportunity, and we especially don't know if Epic is intentionally disabling the token.

The token itself is NOT actually the problem, the problem is how Epic is managing it.
I haven't been motivated to try and find it because the whole "your next chest might be it!" thing doesn't work for me if everything about it is blind luck.

Please share this around.
The FTC needs to find out so Epic Games faces legal action.
THEN THEY ARE FORCED TO REVEAL THE ODDS AND CHANGE A FEW OF THE RULES.
