@RobinNestBCFC I think he was so poor in a pure footballing sense (both technically and mentally) that it would be hard to develop him & his game to the required standard.
I'm not convinced he's that hard a worker though. I'm surprised so many fans view him positively if I'm being honest.
@ihatetikitaka Hmm, I always think that one looks a bit like a Sunday League team has put it together on photoshop.
The new badge design is decent, but perhaps lacking a bit in execution and detail. Shame there's no bridge on it.
Think the ideal outcome would be something in between the 2.
@bcfcpezza Even if we could afford it and he wanted to come, I'd be hesitant to spend £10m on any single player, let alone a goalkeeper.
But if we could get Vitek back for a more reasonable fee, that'd be fantastic.
@khaos_corp@BristolCity@fever_uk Nothing to do with our change of manager.
Everything to do with Stoke being quality earlier in the season and falling off a cliff since. (plus a bit of variance too)
@pnefc The 12th place trophy is ours!
Congrats to PNE on a valiant battle to be the most boring and mediocre club to support. Game recognises game.
Can't wait to do it again next season ❤️🤝🤍
@BristolCity@fever_uk Started the season feeling positive.
Frustrated by the lack of spending in both windows and the decisions of the board.
Handful of boring dead rubber games at the end under Hodgson.
Happy that the season is finally over.
A very Bristol City experience 😂
@TheExiledRobin I suppose the argument in their favour is that during our lifetime they've had a period of relative success in the Prem.
They're not perennial underachievers in the same way we are.
Agree their last 8 years are probably worse though.
@markbennett1964 Don't agree. Struber was a good manager at this level who made a great start to the season. Injuries and a crap January window killed us off, so we threw what looked like a good project out the window.
A few fortunate points picked up in dead rubber games doesn't change that.
@CharlyOrtiborza@RobinNestBCFC I suppose the difference with Vitek is that he's the one loan player we'd like to keep next season (however likely or unlikely that may be)
@FPL_Heisenberg Easy to say that in retrospect. Gabriel had a decent fixture in 32 and felt near essential from 35 onwards. Always a high chance that he scores from a set piece too (even vs Man C)
IMO it was a perfectly reasonable decision to keep him on WC and save transfers and TV in doing so
@FPL_TomHadley Insane to think there must be people out there with a positive experience of Joao Pedro 😅
As far as Im concerned, he's been an absolute troll for a couple of years now.
