Because to her, the Bible and all its history is just dressing on her gay musical salad.

She wants a story of "redemption", in a world based on Christian lore, without JESUS CHRIST, with a Heaven that has no idea what makes a sinner, and a Hell that functions more like a corporate party than a place of divine judgment. She doesn't even have GOD as the creator of human kind, or any mention of Him outside of using Christ as a slur.

The show has no depth of what sin actually is, what drives people to it, or even a coherent solution. Peter being a white man with blue eyes and blond hair is just a small part of her overall lack of respect for the source she draws from or projection of how she thinks Christianity was started by Europeans.

I hope and pray she never does actually introduces anymore people from the Bible into the story, because she will create an absolute bastardization of them that fits her debauched world. She already did that with Adam and by extention, Eve.

It’s staggering once you realize you could potentially steer the whole jury to a decision.
