@IanDarke While I understand you wanting the Govt involved, their role should be as a financier only. Our Govt is too polarizing and it's presence beyond that would drive folks away. But youth soccer in this country badly needs overhauled if it wants to build and KEEP talent

@IanDarke Yes. Youth sports programs in this country are "pay to play" and are pricing a lot of talented kids pit of sports. MLS, NWSL, NASL and US Soccer are the ones who need to spearhead efforts.

This World Cup is done and dusted for the US. If you wouldve told me before the tournament that we would get get to the round of 16, I would've taken it, but this sucks. Especially with the rest of the world violently railing against us.
