Sometimes it’s quite hard to see Gods plan. This week my husband and I are struggling with this as his grandpa who has been on hospice will likely be passing away this weekend or early next week. While we have been expecting this, we were not expecting for his grandma to go be with our Lord and Savior so suddenly as she passed on Tuesday.
Our first calf of the year was born on Thursday morning and we will be calling her Anne. Named after grandma.

Called a plumbing company this morning and “Amy” the AI bot answered sounding almost human.
I hung up and then an actual person called back saying they saw my call and noticed that I was unable to connect with them. I told them that I would simply be calling another company because of their dystopian answering service.
If you’re a local business and you can’t staff an actual person to answer the phone I would rather go elsewhere with my money.

Had a neighbor steal a cow from my field day before thanksgiving.
Saw them in my field Wednesday and asked what they were doing and they said one of theirs got in my field. Next day I come back one of mine is missing. This is not the first time either. Took two of my bulls 2 months ago and I wasn’t able to get them back or get anything from other guy.
Made sure to check fence lines and woods multiple days now. Still no cow. Called property owner and they spoke to them and were told that they removed two of their cows from my field. I say they only told me about one and now I have one missing. They told property owner it must’ve just gotten out because “I don’t feed them” (tell that to my feed bill).
Cleared with property owner that I’m going to walk the adjacent field they lease and if my cow is there I will be calling police.
Done playing nice with them.
