@Acyn@StephenM, an employee of Donald Trump, calling out a man’s masculinity & calling him a “weird, strange, bizarre, totally unelectable human” is some next-level irony.
Any psychologist can see this is pure projection. Insecurity & hatred are terrible traits for a person w/ power!
@jse_amor@USArmy@GOP You didn’t refute anything I said. You can’t, bc what I said is true; liberals freed slaves from conservative slave owners. Nowadays, liberals wish to tear down Confederate statues & monuments, while conservatives try to protect them. THESE ARE FACTS my dude! Turn off Fox News!!
@jse_amor@USArmy@GOP No hypocrisy. Not on the issue of slavery. Liberals freed slaves from Conservatives. That’s a fact. I was reinforcing that fact by citing that modern Dems support tearing down Confederate statues & monuments, and Republicans try to preserve them. Another fact.
And set aside the rescue numbers for a moment. Victor Marx says his stepfather forced him to shoot and kill a man when he was seven years old. So 9News asked the only logical follow-up, is that the only person you've ever killed?, and Marx went silent for more than ten seconds before allowing that yes, people may have died when he "defended himself" in other countries, though there's no count and no photos.
Asked whether the voters of Colorado deserve to know how many people their would-be governor has killed, he called the question "odd" and said it wasn't important. Sit with that. A man asking to command a state's National Guard, its prisons, and its state patrol treats his own body count as a private matter beneath your concern, resting on a childhood killing that local sheriffs say left no record, reported, he claims, to an FBI and a sheriff's office that have no record of him either.
Another representative needed one sentence to answer what Marx wouldn't: "I have killed zero people, and you can take that to the bank." One of these men just told you exactly who he is. The other refused to.
@seanDeShane@ThatEricAlper Never saw North Dallas Forty!
Have seen a few clips, but never the whole flick. I was young when that came out & have never heard anyone mention it as a favorite.
I’ll check it out for you, though 😉
@seanDeShane@ThatEricAlper You have an interesting list. Love the selection of Airplane & Slap Shot, two favorites of mine.
However, I think The Hangover is one of the most overrated comedies of all time. Honestly didn’t laugh once in the flick and I saw it in a packed theater.
Oh well, to each his own
@Super70sSports Penny Lane
It’s one of the first songs I remember hearing & liking on the radio as a kid, well before I knew who/what the Beatles were.
