@IAMCoachDub1 this young man @TheFerg_4 is a true gem and under the radar in North Carolina. As the #1 receiver for Clayton High School he helped lead his team to the state championship. Off the field and on it he would embody everything you as coach expect. A true high production, low maintenance student athlete. 6’ 175, 3.6 GPA. Let’s connect coach!

Good morning sir.
It is my hope that in the future, a person that has a platform such as yourself uses it to be more fruitful. There were so many other stories that were on that field last night that could be told but it was decided to perpetuate the perception of the city section.
The danger in a report now and find out later mentality is you can not undue losing the respect of people that once honored who you were. The school and administration put out notices days before the game to inform the community and the visiting school. We as a program also sent out notifications.
I could easily get into the details of why concessions were not had, but what honor, what responsibility do we have to those whom put forth effort to try to make things happen behind the scenes. Who until the last moments tried many alternatives.
So let’s not talk about the City section, our Admins our school. Let’s not make one sided comments knowing we don’t have the full details available to us, it’s divisive. This is out of respect for you. I subscribe to LA times to read your articles, and it’s not that I don’t expect a story thats in my favor to be made. But I expect facts, truth and responsible journalism.
So no we did not have concessions. Yes it was out of our control, no I won’t give details nor any other coach or admin. Because in the Carson High School we honor each other and would never make anyone look any type of way.
Now if you want better for the city section, we have many infrastructure, fiscal, and social change ideas we would love for you to report on and garner attention so we can bring that change.
Blessing to you and more grace!
Coach E
