Just read some tweets about Chelsea players and 'FIFA Article 17'.

None of what these people are saying is true.

📝 For a player to activate that clause and leave, they must have signed the contract at least 3 years ago (2 years if the player is 28). That alone puts Marc Cucurella* and Joao Pedro outside the basic criteria for using this rule.

🇦🇷 As for Enzo Fernandez, he (along with the interested club) will need to pay the remaining wages under his contract, plus the fee paid by Chelsea, and the Blues just need to provide proof that there was no breach of contract during his time at the club.

❌ Since Enzo has not been unjustly banned, frozen out, or kept away from the training ground, he faces a 4-6 month ban. The club that tried to sign him will also receive a two-window ban.

*signed a new deal without a change in contract length this season, so that is counted as a new deal.

He's 21 playing for CFC in his first season after a big transfer. Physically he's a great profile, technically he's good for a big man. At 23-24 I reckon he becomes a v v good prem striker.

Not sure why you're expecting a prime striker performance.
