We are still working on rehousing some of our vintage lenses. The 3D printed parts take about 7 hours each and there are 3 parts per lens. The assembly was a tricky part but we successfully rehoused our Helios 58mm so far.
@AndyMarkSimpson It's one of those films that has you sitting in silence for the next hour unable to think of anything else. Unique, beautiful, brutal, and so god damn brave! Loved it.
We've been re-housing our Helios 58mm f/2 lens with 3D printed parts. It looks more like a cine lens (minus the orange part) and has a greater focus throw. Now we need to use it to see how well it works then we'll make a video all about it. Let us know what you think?
