The African Action Congress (AAC) has formally written to President Bola Tinubu, requesting permission to inaugurate its Presidential Campaign Council for its Presidential candidate @sowore at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, Abuja, on November 11, 2026.

In a letter dated October 21, 2026, and signed by its National Secretary, Oshiokhue Philip Ikpeminoghena, the party also demanded food, drinks, and logistical support for 5,000 participants from Nigeria and abroad.

The AAC said its request was based on the principles of multiparty democracy, political inclusiveness, and equal treatment, citing similar arrangements reportedly extended to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The party insisted that public institutions must serve all Nigerians without partisan discrimination and challenged the Tinubu administration to demonstrate its commitment to fairness and equal access. #AACOurParty #Sowore2027

One thing Nigerian politicians need to understand is that if you attack Omoyele Sowore @sowore, be ready for him to fire back. Don’t start what you cannot finish. You cannot insult a man publicly and expect him to keep quiet just because you are a senator, minister, governor or a member of the ruling party.

The problem with some of these politicians is that they are used to people bowing before them because of the positions they occupy. They believe they can open their mouths and say whatever they like about others without anybody challenging them. Unfortunately for them, Sowore is not that kind of person. He will respond, and if you are not prepared to defend what you said, you may end up regretting why you started the argument in the first place.

Sowore has been confronting Nigerian politicians for years. He has criticised successive governments, challenged powerful people and spoken about the problems facing ordinary Nigerians. You may disagree with his politics, but you cannot deny him the right to speak his mind. The same way you have the right to criticise him, he also has the right to respond to you.

What I find funny is that some politicians are quick to attack Sowore but become uncomfortable when he responds. They will mock his political ambition, call him names and try to make him look irrelevant. But when he fires back, they suddenly start acting as though they deserve special respect because of their political positions.

Respect is not something you force people to give you because of the office you occupy. If you want to be respected, learn to respect others and be prepared to defend your own words.

Some of these politicians need to understand that having a political title does not automatically make you intelligent, and having money does not mean you can win every argument. You can be a senator and still make a foolish argument. You can be a minister and still be exposed for making false claims. You can be the national secretary of a political party and still meet someone who will challenge you with questions you cannot answer.

That is why you should think carefully before attacking Sowore. Don’t just open your mouth because you want to impress your party members or get attention on social media. If you have something against him, bring your facts and explain yourself. Nobody is stopping you from criticising him, but don’t expect him to sit down and watch you insult him.

And to be honest, I don’t understand why some politicians spend so much time attacking Sowore when Nigerians are facing serious problems. People are struggling to feed their families, businesses are suffering, insecurity remains a major concern, and many young people are desperately searching for opportunities. Instead of addressing these issues, some politicians would rather spend their time mocking an opposition figure.

If you believe you are doing a good job, tell Nigerians what you have achieved. If you believe your party is better, explain why. If you think Sowore has nothing to offer, present your arguments and let Nigerians decide. But don’t expect to win a political argument simply by insulting somebody.

The truth is that Sowore is not a politician who will keep quiet because you have a bigger title than him. He has spent years challenging people in power, and anyone who decides to attack him should be ready for the response. You might think you are embarrassing him, only to find yourself defending your own statements and answering questions you never expected.

This is where some politicians get it wrong. They think every opposition figure can be intimidated, but not everybody will keep quiet to protect your ego. If you throw an insult at somebody, don’t start crying when the person responds. You cannot dish it out and complain when it comes back to you.

• This knowledge can be attained through research, group discussions, attending training programmes/workshops, business networking, consultancy, etc.

• Knowledge gained free of charge is never appreciated, so spending is the key to success.

2. TIME
• Spend more time on the farm instead of leaving the caretaker/manager to take care of your investment.

• They say the best way to do something well is to do it yourself.

• Most fish 🐟 farmers are frustrated and think that fish 🐟 farming is not a profitable business simply because they have put their trust in workers due to a lack of knowledge.

• Fish 🐟 farming is a lifetime business that involves proper planning and risk-taking.

• As the owner of the business, you need to be there all the time.

3. SPACE
• Enough land is required for pond construction, offices, storage and accommodation, depending on your fish 🐟 farming direction/plan.

4. CAPITAL
• Enough capital is needed to facilitate the business.

• Payment of workers, consultancy, purchase of machinery, aquaculture inputs and accessories, and other necessities.

• A number of fish 🐟 farmers think that fish 🐟 farming is a free-of-charge business.

• If you want to be a successful fish 🐟 farmer, you need to spend.
