Looking back, I've learned the most from the bad coaches, really, how not to act, how not to coach, how not to treat people. So I always say no matter what situations you're faced with, how bad it is, you can always walk away and learn. You can always rise above it.

Winning takes a special kind of person. How to win at life:
1. Set EMPOWERING Goals
2. Set daily Standards to keep you going when motivation is not there.
3. Stretch your boundaries and comfort zone.
4. Mistakes are good if you learn from them, donโt fear mistakes.
5. God 1st
Proverbs 9:7 says, โWhoever corrects a mocker invites insult.โ Jesus did not respond to people who mocked him. He let his works be his response. After his arrest, he did not respond to his accusers and mockers; he let God respond for him with his resurrection.
Your sport does not define you.
It is something you do NOT who you are.
Galatians 2:20 - I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.
But if you do it do it to the best of your ability.
Parents,
Approximately 7% of high school athletes go on to play in college and get to stand before a college coach.
100% of high school athletes will one day stand before God!
Are you preparing them for the success that matters most?!
Does it really matter?
If the answer is no move on.
We spend more time on things that do nothing to improve our lives than what really matters.
Control your life.
