Ijeoma Ofomata - The name may not resonate with the average basketball fan but behind the scenes, she makes things happen.

'Ejay' played professional basketball for 10 years before joining the NBA Africa in 2020 where she has been a part of the basketball operations team for @theBAL. She was named Senior Manager of the operations team in January 2023 and most recently, secured a role as the scouting coordinator for the @Bucks.

Fun fact: Ijeoma grew up in Nigeria, attended high school before moving back to the UK at 16.

Lets take a short trip into the underground basketball scene in China!

China's involvement in basketball development over the last decade ushered a new found passion in smaller communities in the country. These games are organised by local bosses and businessmen who look to gain popularity amongst the people.

Over time, it turned a lucrative spot for pro players as the demand for high level showings shot up the roof.
Players may earn over $100,000 playing in the tournaments in a short period, way more than what the average pay in @nbagleague per season ($37,000) but then, it may involve an insane amount of games & travel that overwhelm the body.

There are numerous anomalies with the nature of wild ball that foreign players may find absurd but its found a way to be adopted by other nations who look to foster a love for the game amongst the younger generation.
