@ryjlocal To me, the obvious change will be predominantly software attacks to seize control of these vessels. The old school approach of trying to board may still occur if only to plug into the ships systems. Commericallly without the risk to life cargo loss may actually increase,thoughts?

@DeltaClimbs @xansnds Lots of work in solid & now liquid prop for defense apps but cryo storage is too infrastructure heavy and nothing focused on small targets aka drones. Gas turbine vtol’s are interesting but still would be nice to have a ground based solution to bring cost down. Lasers & ___?👀

@DeltaClimbs @xansnds Heavily used in space coms & now in AG for weeds and such + welding but haven’t seen them really incorporated into defense/maritime yet. The whole shoot down a drone category is tricky due to the whole over penetration problem. Where else are you seeing them currently used?

@redbullfuturist What do you use it for? It’s still seems so software centric that I haven’t touched it. Everything I do is bounded by physics and a lot of one off solutions to mechanical problems.
