Solopreneur, Educator & NoCode/LowCode Pro using AI at the core of what I create. Building the "iDragons Academy" where ancient wisdom meets cutting-edge tech.
@0xJJW Congrats on V2 Joel๐
If I was a Framer user I would definitely be using your Auth system. You always put so much energy into your software and it always makes your products stand out from the crowd.
I wish you the best of luck with this next stage of development.
Just getting caught up with @nocodebackend / Xano's Spring Launch event and @prakawesome nails it here in terms of where AI enhanced โ or centric โ tools need to be today. Their AI features are some of the best I've seen because they're so well thought out, and not just bolted on
True. I'm in that 20% bracket now. I:
1. Created a new brand
2. Set up all the tech (online AND offline)
3. Configured all the build tools
4. Made the thing
5. Gathered waitlisters
6. Did paid ads
7. Launched the thing
8. Emailed everyone
9. Sales have started coming in...
Yet I know this thing won't succeed without a shit ton of marketing, product optimisation, customer service... over the next year and beyond.
The great thing is that the last 20% is actually the most exciting part in the process to my mind.
Stripe just created a role that didn't exist 12 months ago (and they're paying multiple six figures for it)
It's called the Forward Deployed AI Accelerator.
They are hiring AI-native individuals to work directly with their marketing teams to fundamentally change how they work.
Each person will be assigned to a cohort of 20 marketers. Their job is to build custom AI tools and agents and coach each marketer until they are self-sufficient.
Basically, work with marketers until they automate their jobs.
Stripe's marketing org is betting that AI should not be an occasional tool but the default mode for all work.
But they also understand that most employees won't upskill themselves. They'll need someone who is embedded within their teams to build alongside them.
If you are AI-pilled, this is probably the role for you.
And this also gives a clear picture of where every organization within a company is heading.
LAUNCHED! ... ๐๐
My latest venture breaks all the rules. Am I mad?
1. I'm working with my best mate
2. There are no AI features in the thing
3. I know very little about the industry*
4. We've spent a fair amount of both time and money on getting the MVP out the door
5. We haven't consulted many potential users before building the thing
6. I paid for ads before the thing was even live
*Luckily, it's my mate's son that is the expert so I've been schooled but still, it feels weird.
But before you judge, here me out!
Like you all, I've been watching the impact of AI closely and feeling it too in my working life - the good and the bad. So I set out to back a different kind of horse that doesn't rely on AI and his name is Mackenzie Alexander.
He has won 11 World Gold Medals which is the most successful solo achievement of any British expert (in his field) in international competition yet he is currently only 17 years old.
In 2025 though he was struck with a pretty debilitating condition: POTS. He went from being extremely physical every day to bed bound most days. He had to leave his college and went home to be looked after by his family.
Nobody could have predicted what happened next: between Mackenzie, his Dad, his Mum, his Sister and me, we came up with a plan which could keep him active, and keep his (mad) skills up, all based around his unpredictable health rollercoaster ride.
This young man is not only extremely talented but he is going through a health ordeal with grace and humour. He's an inspiration to us all.
Growing up, he always knew what he wanted to do: he wanted to dance. But he struggled to get to advanced training workshops as he was growing up so his family paid a small fortune to travel around the world to attend the best events so that Mackenzie could be taught by the most talented teachers. And it paid off...
๐Mackenzie is a World Class Tap Dancer and I mean WORLD Class
But being stuck at home with no way to perform on stage, and an uncertain future ahead of him (as POTS is a lifelong condition), Mackenzie was struggling.
So what did we do? We built, of course!๐
We trained ourselves up and equipped a small studio at his home so that Mackenzie could start to record everything he knows about Tap Dancing.
The plan was to create the world's most advanced Tap training program so that young Tappers, like Mackenzie in years gone by, could get access to this high level tuition without the extreme cost (time AND money) of travel.
Today, we have launched TapStream: the most advanced Tap training program for young Tappers across the world so that they can learn from their homes and their phones at a fraction of the cost (and no AI required๐).
We have opted for the Freemium model so as of today there are 7 FREE video based lessons and 18 Premium lessons behind a paywall. In total, Mackenzie plans to release over 100 lessons as a bare minimum.๐คฏ
For my part, I built the landing page, the custom app, set up the ecommerce, the marketing tools etc. and I helped with setting up the technical side of the studio for filming at 4K which was not my strong suit!
I've put the link to TapStream below so feel free to sign-up for an account to get access to those 7 free lessons, for life, or just to nose around. If you fancy subscribing I won't stop you especially if you're an aspiring, young Tapper!!
Otherwise, if this story has resonated with you then please repost it in case you have young Tappers, or parents of the same, in your Followers list. This could help them achieve so much.๐
More posts to come over the days and weeks ahead re: the project build and such. Thanks for reading and for your time.
๐จLAUNCH DAY for me and my team...
I'll tell you all about it later after it's live๐
P.S. I TOTALLY failed at building-in-public on this project but I'll try to make up for it with post-launch posts and breakdowns (hopefully not my own!)
Stop doubting the power of your preferred AI: if you have a question in your mind, just ask it, especially if you are using AI to assist your coding efforts but ask in plain English (or your respective native language!) and let it figure out the complexity.
Don't second guess AI
@nateliason I'm really enjoying the pod right now. My big takeaway from it so far is that today's kids are ready for this so now we need to build the scaffolds around them to help them climb, jump off the top of the structure and fly!
This was an awesome experience esp. with a looming deadline! Pass thx on to the team @thisiskp_@Netlify has outdone themselves with this simple agent prompt to deploy your web app. Worked 100% first time from my local env, my Expo / React Native project, & Antigravity/Gemini
If you're a digital marketer in this modern world, you'll know how hard it is to juggle all the tools, accounts, integrations, automations, ad campaigns, social posts, DMs โ it's all kinda crazy BUT... this team is genuinely trying to help us all by simplifying organic and now PAID posts on our socials! Help them out today like I have already, see their post:
Things are getting out of hand in Spain.
We're live on Product Hunt today with the Zernio Ads API - one integration for paid ads across 6 platforms.
No developer apps. No separate SDKs. 6 ad networks. 1 API call.
We'd love your support ๐
