@OdimonWasTaken@Jey3o37 To Archer's credit, the ONLY unit he needs is Sparkle. You can run basically any other support next to Sparkle, or two others, and he will clear the content. Ruan Mei, SW, Robin, Yao Guang, RMC, a sustain or none, hell, probably even Sunday or Bronya though I haven't tried those.
@CesarBetaTester It took me over 200 hours to finally finish it all, and it felt like half my time was just spent running around doing nothing else. Largely because of the dumb collectopedia. I would've loved to have this bike at some point just to save time on collecting junk.
@futurxd@CesarBetaTester They do wanna play it. They're just engaging with the game in a different way. When I played the game, I completed everything as I went. All side content as it was available to me, and I used Expert mode to keep my levels in check.
@KnightsTomboy@TylerMcGuirk_ It got so bad that I kept updating the best speed gems I had access to so I could run faster. If the game made exploration more fun, or if they put more effort into the side quests like in X or 3, I would've appreciated it more.
@KnightsTomboy@TylerMcGuirk_ As someone who did side quests and filled out the collectopedia and maps to 100% the game as I went, upwards of 50% of my time was just running around doing nothing else. I think the appeal of running around so much in XC1 is very overstated.
@x3phia@Kingdomace_ Harvest Golems are a clockwork invention of the goblins, who are very into engineering. The Deconstructor is an ancient, highly advanced robot that was created by a mechanical being created by the Titans to serve as custodian of a super advanced mechanical city
@x3phia@Kingdomace_ The Mechon I would consider sci-fi, especially Metal Face and the bigger ones. For a comparison with a different IP (Warcraft), I would raise Harvest Golem as a fantasy-leaning construct, and the XT-002 Deconstructor as a sci-fi leaning construct cuz of the context of the world
@MurasakiMonday Xenoblade 1 was clearly sci-fi from the first cutscene. The giant god-like robot, and the war scenes with humans vs the Mechon. You also encounter High Entia technology before reaching the Bionis Leg.
@Lunartear042 I think it could be the Samaarians before they developed to that point, or maybe it's the universe way in the future after suffering some kind of biblical reset. Kinda like what happened after... Noah's Ark.
@Kalym0s@DevourYourMoon That's weird, because I've seen plenty of people encourage players to grab Rhino ASAP because he never dies and has one of the top 2 buffing abilities in the game.
@rubynesoberi It was basically a maximized Melia build with the best investment possible before finishing the game, and I was killing super high lvl enemies in those caves for the Monado Replica quest materials, using Melia's DPS to race the enemy HP bar before they killed my Taunters and Riki
@rubynesoberi I first played it on the 3DS and I had no idea what I was doing and had to overlevel to beat Lorithia and finish the game.
In DE, I learned how to play Melia, and I was killing enemies in end-game/post-game zones 20+ levels above me in areas I had no business being in.
@TitaniumTurte@LightCro I use Archer with E0S1 Yao Guang as his secondary supporter and it works fine a lot of the time. I ran that this MOC against the Pompom boss. My Archer is E1S1, and pretty okay stats for his main set, but since this boss isn't quantum weak, I ran a budget Scholar of Erudition set
