Had a buddy join us for awhile on the Uwharrie trail. He stuck around all day and finally headed out right at sunset.

Out with the old and in with the new!! We replaced our @brooksrunning Cascadia 16s with.. Cascadia 16s!! In our opinion there simply isn't a better sneaker made for hiking longer distances 💪

@hikingwithshawn When we're hiking across states, the gps often takes us through big cities and we've grown to really enjoy those areas! Cincinnati was incredible!!

Clifton Forge, Virginia was a great little town to spend the winter in! Heading home to NC to take care of a thing or 2 then we'll be back to doing what we're passionate about: hiking and picking up litter!! 💪

Hiked for the last time in Clifton Forge VA today! It's been a great little mountain town to spend the winter but we're sooo ready to get back to hiking around the country while picking up litter in a couple weeks!! 💪

Recap: We began our journey on June 28th 2022. We hiked from our home town (Kannapolis NC) to TN, KY, OH, and finally settled for the winter in VA. Cleaned up litter 🚮 in 5 states in 5 months! Trekked over 700 miles 🚶🚶‍♀️And did a whole lot of learning and growing as people.

The past 9 months have been a great learning experience. Traveled through & cleaned up litter in 5 states in 5 months and spent the winter in VA. Put over 600 miles on our legs 🦵 Can't wait to see where this journey takes us next...
