-Sirens are confirmed at Prince Sultan Air Base in Al-Kharj, home to American forces and Patriot batteries

-Unconfirmed reports place sirens at Yanbu on the Red Sea coast, terminus of Saudi Arabia's largest oil pipeline

-Saudi Arabia has largely stayed off Iran's siren map all week, while Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan absorbed the barrages

-Iran warned it could target "a network of key ports" in Gulf states

Yanbu is the name that raises the stakes.

The Red Sea terminal is the heart of the East-West pipeline, the exact bypass route the Gulf is counting on to escape Hormuz dependence, and Iran threatening it would mean going after the workaround, not just the strait.

The base alert is real.

The pipeline alert, if confirmed, is the escalation.

THE NEW RULES OF THE GAME
➡️ Price floors are being examined to shield domestic mines and friendly imports from violent swings.
➡️ Predatory dumping that once crushed Western refiners is now firmly in the crosshairs.
➡️ Failure of the talks triggers the threat of tariffs on industrial silver imports.
➡️ Those tariffs would immediately tighten available metal and force U.S. buyers to pay up.

THE COMEX DEADLINE
➡️ July 29 is Last Notice Day for the silver futures contract.
➡️ Total open interest currently stands near 108,000 contracts, equal to 540 million ounces.
➡️ Registered, deliverable silver in the vaults is only about 86 million ounces.
➡️ The specific July contract alone still shows roughly 200 million ounces of open interest.

THE PAPER TRAP
➡️ Physical coverage is a thin 16 percent.
➡️ If a meaningful share of holders stand for actual delivery, the registered stocks disappear.
➡️ The exchange would be forced into force majeure and cash settlement.
➡️ When that happens the true physical price detaches and surges higher with almost no resistance.

THE BOTTOM LINE
Policy pressure from the White House is tightening the noose at the precise moment the paper market is most exposed. The mismatch between claims and real metal has never been this extreme heading into a major notice period.
This is the setup that turns paper promises into physical fireworks.

BAPCO operates Bahrain’s strategic refinery complex, capable of processing approximately 400,000-405,000 barrels of crude oil per day following its recent expansion.

Oil and gas are the backbone of Bahrain’s economy, accounting for the vast majority of government revenues, while roughly 95% of the refinery’s products are exported. The facility is one of the Kingdom’s most strategically important pieces of infrastructure.

Bahrain imports most of the crude it refines from Saudi Arabia through a dedicated pipeline, making BAPCO not only vital to Bahrain’s economy, but an important node in Gulf energy supply chains.
