Just finished my annual re-read of Escaping the Build Trap by @lissijean and it's still one the single best Product books out there. If you are in #productmanagement you NEED TO READ THIS BOOK.
@lissijean Ok, I know you've shared this before, but for the life of me I can't find it. What are your most recommended PM books besides Art of Action, Never Split the Difference, and Continuous Discovery Habits?
Art of Action by Stephen Bungay, might be one the best books on #business#strategy I’ve ever read. It’s a little dry to start, but there is more meat in this book than in a Wendy’s quadruple stack.
On experimenting and learning (inspired by art of action), don’t extinguish 100 positive initiatives in an effort to prevent 1 error. It is far better to act and learn with limited information than to wait indefinitely for perfect information that will never come
@lissijean finally getting around to reading Bungay’s Art of Action on your recommendation in Build Trap and it’s awesome. Definitely going to be a top 4 recommended book of mine
@trello I just figured out that you can embed ENTIRE BOARDS into Confluence and they are fully functional. I kid you not, I got up and did a little dance. It is AWESOME.
Also, side note, I would love some #trello merch, where can I get it?
Well, I guess I'm a glutton for punishment, but either way I'm excited to announce @dtilles and I are writing a book on Product Operations! Should be out next year.
