The replacement decal for the Bluthner grand has just arrived in from the U.S. and is ready to be transferred onto the soundboard. We can then fit the bass strings and start chipping it up to pitch.

We are currently refinishing the #Bluthner frame in #Mercedes silver (as requested by our client). After so much dismantling, stripping and preparation work it's great to finally see part of this project almost finished! #piano #thefulloctave #music #cumbria

The frame has been removed from the #Bluthner and we have started stripping the soundboard. Our workshop suddenly feels much smaller with this 7ft grand kicking around!
