@Feargal_Sharkey You wont be surprised to learn that for the past 48 hrs tens of thousands of homes and businesses in the Rye area have been without water with no updates from @SouthernWater when the problem will be resolved.

@SouthernWater Your disaster management protocols are non-existent. In 2023 this is shameful for a co supplying an essential service. We have lost £tens of thousands but that’s insignificant compared to your inability to adequately supply bottled water to those in need.

Any chance that someone with some emotional integrity/ownership of this situation can respond in real time rather than reposting a stock response from hours earlier? This is a sadly repeating playbook that only supports the public’s view of the incompetence of the water industry.
