Why Most Course Creators Fail at Sales and How to Fix It
Hey everyone, quick reality check from someone who’s been in sales for over 25 years.
You’ve poured your heart into creating an incredible online course. The content is solid, the value is there, people love what you teach… but the sales? They’re inconsistent at best, or worse, barely trickling in.
Sound familiar?
I’ve seen this over and over with amazing creators. The truth is, most fail at sales not because their course isn’t good enough, but because they treat sales like an afterthought. They rely on funnels, emails, or ads alone, hoping the money just shows up. Or they try to close everything themselves, which burns them out fast.
The real problem? No proper sales process and no dedicated sales team.
Back when I was 16, I started cold calling and never stopped. I’ve sold double glazing, insurance, digital marketing, whisky investments, high ticket courses, you name it. By 24 I was managing teams of 30 reps, training them to close consistently, building processes that turned leads into revenue month after month.
Now I use all that experience to help course creators like you.
The fix is simple but powerful:
• Get someone (or a team) who actually knows how to close warm leads on the phone or video.
• Build a clear, repeatable sales process from lead gen to follow up to close.
• Train and scale a high performing sales team so it runs without you doing every call.
That’s what I do now. I close leads personally, set up the full process, and help build/train your own team.
To prove it works and help a few people get started, I’m offering this for free to 2 or 3 serious course creators right now. I’ll close your first 5 sales at no cost (you keep 100% of the revenue), then we can talk about building something longer term. All I ask is an honest testimonial once we deliver results.
If your course is sitting there with untapped potential and you’re tired of inconsistent sales, send me a message. Let’s chat about what you’re building and see if I can take the sales headache off your plate.
No pressure, just real help from someone who’s closed millions in high ticket sales.

Where helmets can be rice cookers, traffic rules are more like suggestions, and somehow it all just works.
You see moments like this every day and can’t help but laugh. It’s part of the magic of living here.
People find solutions with creativity, humour and zero stress. There is a freedom in that that most of us lost a long time ago.
Life here reminds you not to overthink things. It doesn’t have to be perfect to be brilliant.
Thailand runs on smiles, sunshine and resourcefulness. And honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
People overcomplicate phone sales.
Listen, if you’re a beginner:
Avoid:
- Drowning prospects in details
- Slouching over the desk
- Fearing the “no”
- Spending hours crafting the perfect pitch
Instead:
- Ask questions and listen
- Stand up, chest out, move. Motion creates emotion
- Welcome the No's, they get you close to the yes
Focus on this for the first 30 days.
Build from there.

The executives in boardrooms of listed companies all do the same thing for hyper-focus.
Every Sunday, get out a piece of paper.
Write down 3-5 clear & measurable targets.
Not bs like "make more money".
What does "more money" look like?
If you're a closer,
You'll need to close X deals,
So you'll have to create Y proposals,
So you'll have to set up Z meetings, etc.
Make it autistic as f*ck. extreme detail.
If you do this and align with it every morning & every day of the week,
You'll get to next Sunday on the best dopamine high you'll ever experience.
Top sales reps don’t memorize scripts.
They master controlled conversations.
Here are 3 things that make the difference:
• Frameworks > Scripts
• Questions > Pitch
• Reframe > Handling objections

cold calling is the most aura-draining thing ever.
you will get b*ched by guys half your height & weight,
who have never thrown a punch in their life,
who use their corporate title to feel a bit of power.
prepare to dial an overweight 5'2 middle-manager
and get told to f*ck off by him.
you just have to keep in mind -
a LOT of warriors in the past coped with getting insulted by peasants,
if it meant they'd have the upper hand in the long run.
stick through it.
you might get told you're a bad salesman once,
but they'll be a nerd forever.

Great post
Something a lot of people don’t realize is how often business leaders/owners get cold called & pitched
I promise you - however bad you screw up - we won’t care or remember
Just smile & dial boys
Nothing bad will happen
But a lot of good stuff will
