The feature "Start Self-Driving from Park" has a new addition to its notes in 2026.20.6.10:

Brake Confirm requires the driver to press and release the brake pedal before FSD (Supervised) can be activated. When Brake Confirm is disabled, pressing the button will allow Self-Driving to apply the brakes and engage FSD (Supervised).

If driver detection requirements are not met or if FSD (Supervised) does not detect a driver, you will be required to press and release the brake pedal to confirm. You can enable Brake Confirm in Self-Driving > Brake Confirm.

@mikepat711 Same here. The speed hard limit is really bad now. I am having to scroll between std, hurry, and mad max dozens of times on my commute now. Hopefully they get this fixed. V13 had leeway to briefly accelerate around during a pass.

@wholemars Same old argument from the dealer network. After purchasing 3 Teslas over 6 years, would never step foot in a dealership ever again. Teslas direct to consumer is a significantly better experience.
