@courtenaytaylor This is Sir Theodore of Ginger. He likes to sit on shoulders and be carried around the house whilst we do cleaning. He says he is helping... he doesn't.
Going to strive to be better and bigger than ever.
I am going to throw my ideas into the, already bursting, actual play podcasts, a DM tips series, finish writing my campaign setting and adventure book and start reviewing DM accessories and aids. #dungeonsanddragons#dm5e
This year has been tough #dnd5e wise. With the lockdown and the issues that came with it, I lost all creativity and drive to run games. I lost my enthusiasm and put everything to do with it on hold.
But the sparks of inspiration are slowly returning, and next year I am (1)
@McBiggitty XIII-2 is easily one of my favourite FFs and needs way more credit for what it did. The trilogy as a whole would have been praised to high heaven if it wasn't a FF title imo and it's own IP.
@G27Status XIII-2 Is one of my favourite FFs. The series as a whole would have been far more loved if it didn't have the FF name attached to it.
They were amazing games but average FF games.
@grifhinx@dnd_retweets Which wouldn't be ideal 😂😂
So if only the DM had the book and read it out or shows it to players, it may as well not be there and have it down to the DMs descretion as it is now, anyway.
@grifhinx@dnd_retweets I would put that down to the DM, rather than the adventure/book itself. Let's use Curse of Strahd as an example. If they had a section on 'tios for roleplaying this adventure' in the book, then the players would need that book and have all the story details at their fingertips
@grifhinx@dnd_retweets Direction? Roleplay has no rules or no focus in the books, save for a few bits for races and classes, because roleplay is all down to the player and what their wonderful imagination can come up with.
Keep the books free of Roleplay focus and shift that focus you want on to (3)
@reapermini At the moment, @Wizards_DnD with their line of miniatures. Affordable, pre primed and a large range and many places to purchase them, means that more people new to miniatures are able to jump into the hobby with ease.

@rob_pearson86 I just finished Hell House on hard. It killed me twice before I managed to beat it. Was super satisfying. Once I knew what I needed to do and prepared carefully beforehand it was alot easier.
So, I finished #FinalFantasyVIIRemake last night. 40 hours on the nose. It's good, REALLY good. There are additions I am not the biggest fan of and one scene that pulled me so far out of emersion I had to question if it really happened but doesn't take away from it really.
