@b_tuvell@GrumpyAv8r@AntiWokeMemes Have you ever seen a Muslim attempt to burn the Bible or other religious books? Respect for other faiths and their sacred texts is an important value in Islam.
This image is misleading because many of these quotes are either mistranslated, taken out of context, or simply do not say what the image claims they say.
For example, Quran 2:191 and 9:5 refer to specific wartime situations involving armed conflict, not a command to kill all non-Muslims. Quran 3:28 does not forbid friendship with non-Muslims, and Quran 60:8 explicitly commands Muslims to be kind and just toward those who do not fight them.
If we’re going to judge a religion, we should read its texts honestly and in context—not rely on internet memes that rewrite verses to fit a narrative.
Criticism is fair. Misquoting is not. Truth should matter more than propaganda.
@AntiWokeMemes You may disagree with Islam, but it’s hard to deny that a faith followed by nearly 2 billion people has inspired charity, family values, discipline, prayer, and service to others. Judge Islam by its teachings and the lives of ordinary Muslims—not by internet memes or extremists.
@ARGGU4US@AntiWokeMemes I don’t burn other people’s holy books, and I wouldn’t expect them to burn mine. Respecting others’ beliefs doesn’t require agreeing with them. If you want a discussion, let’s discuss facts—not insults.
This meme relies on fear, stereotypes, and collective blame. It takes the actions of violent extremists and pretends they represent nearly 2 billion Muslims worldwide.
The overwhelming majority of Muslims have never harmed anyone and condemn terrorism just as strongly as everyone else. Holding all Muslims responsible for crimes committed by a tiny minority is no different than blaming all Christians for the actions of violent extremists who claim to be Christian, or all Jews for the actions of Jewish extremists.
Criticize criminals, terrorists, and extremist ideologies all you want—but judging an entire religion or ethnicity by the worst people associated with it is prejudice, not reason.
Or a shorter reply:
Funny how the meme assumes every Muslim is a terrorist. That’s like judging all Christians by the KKK or all Americans by mass shooters. Judge individuals by their actions, not billions of people by the crimes of a few.
@cfcmanusa@AntiWokeMemes My response is simple: judging 2 billion people by the actions of a few is ignorance, not intelligence. If you want to discuss facts, I’m happy to. If not, move on.
