@patton_cascadia Yeah the difference in weather is not small. ... I'm just over here in (farther) east bay/Tri-Valley enjoying my hot and dusty hellscape. 😂

Russian terrorists. The destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant dam only confirms for the whole world that they must be expelled from every corner of Ukrainian land. Not a single meter should be left to them, because they use every meter for terror. It’s only Ukraine's victory that will return security. And this victory will come. The terrorists will not be able to stop Ukraine with water, missiles or anything else.

@phaneritic Yeah it is dust born from disturbed soils. I know it takes advantage of any moisture to reproduce... Wondering if *too much water and deep saturation might actually be bad for reproduction? Thus maybe 2023 saturation will be good for that?
@phaneritic I've been wondering how it's going to affect our Coccidioidomycosis spores... When it finally dries out and the dust flies... You hear any talk about this recently? I haven't.
@EliMcCann Haha our bernedoodle does this after haircuts. we've decided it's because they can finally see (without 5lbs of hair covering their eyes) and they're just wondering who we are... and why we are sitting in their spot. 😆😆
@JoshBreslowTV@RoGonzalesTV@KTVU@livenowfox Should have driven up to end of Kilkare to grab some video of the jan 1 landslides, piles of mud we've dug out, and fresh landslides from Friday morning...
@gspeng@phaneritic@geotripper No a palm doesn't indicate a "fissure" (spring?). People grow palms all over the Altamont back there. A lone palm on a ranch indicates the rancher's wife won an argument at the garden section of the feed store, so a palm came home in the back of the truck that day in 1976.
