@theswansjr There's a place for both metals and BTC.
Until we have Ready Player One, we live in a physical world, and people like physical assets.
Broadly, silver is used more for industry than for investment, and gold has less industrial application / demand than you'd think.
@MagnusMonad@thesilverhermit Every major nation is buying more gold and silver than ever before.
They're preparing to move back to a hard money system.
You probably should too.
@GoldSilverHQ There's nothing more permanent than a temporary government measure.
Since then, gold has "increased" in value, more accurate to say the dollar has devalued so much that 1 ozt of gold is now worth $4350.
Between gold and dollars, I know which I'd rather hold.
@SilverApeKing It's simple supply and demand.
The more of something there is, generally the less valuable it is.
If you have money you can print infinitely, it's going to be worth nothing.
If you have to dig it out of the ground, melt it, and shape it into currency. It's worth something.
@BitcoinArchive BTC's great, but don't limit yourself to it.
Gold and silver have more demand than ever, and as major world powers are looking to move back to a hard money system, they've chosen precious metals as their main asset.
Just look at the global East and how much they've been buying.
@GoldSilver_com Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
Dollar cost average a bit of cash each pay check into each asset you want to invest in (stocks / ETFs, real estate / REITs, gold & silver bullion, BTC, etc.)
Then whatever the situation, you'll be ready to profit.
@theRealKiyosaki Not only the debt issue, but the dollar has been losing value since 1933, when American's gold was confiscated & revalued from $20 to $35 an ounce.
The way to win today is the same as it was then, hold assets like gold & silver, & don't give it up when Uncle Sam comes knocking.
@saylor Great analysis on money, but I have to disagree on part of it.
Gold still has a place in the modern world, and in fact it's more in demand than ever before.
We live in a physical world, and unless the metaverse becomes mainstream, I don't see BTC becoming as in demand as gold.
Build your horde of gold and silver, off load paper dollars that can be printed infinitely, and store your wealth in an asset that takes real effort to mine and create.
Make that “temporary government measure” what it was always meant to be.
Temporary.
55 Years ago today, the world economy was changed forever.
This would be the first domino of many that inevitably led to the collapse of the dollar.
Here’s the story of how president Nixon’s temporary government measure resulted in the devaluation of your savings account.🧵
Around the world, countries are accumulating more gold than ever before. The world is calling for a return to hard money.
If you want to protect yourself from the dollar, yen, euro, yuan, etc. losing even more value. Then invest like a nation.🧵
