Games are not more expensive on console. They are literally the same price.

If you wanna play the good games, yes $4-5k is a bit steep. I'd say $3k minimum.

The ps3 architecture is... Strange... Ps4 and 5 will likely be playable on the 6, so no need to have different storefronts

This is using a base PC that could run all the games a PS5 could run just well enough and a PS5 Pro with the new pricing with the yearly base subscription.
That's not even including the perks for the sub

For a $1500 PC if you spent days if not WEEKS learning all about the parts to optimize it and build it yourself back in 2021 when I last looked, you could get a PC that might be able to run AAA on medium graphics.
