@thetroutyone @BowenBoy22 @GolfMonthly Rubbish! The R&A want more golfers to get handicaps. That’s all. Unions could encourage independent golfers to join clubs on Playn’Play memberships. Unions could offer extra funding to municipal clubs in each area to help them promote handicap only memberships! Done!

@DoogidGolf @thegolfbusiness @EnglandGolf @ScottishGolf Honestly! In 2018 @ScottishGolf put the affiliation fee up explicitly to pay for this VMS. Merchant fee on £20 free fee is about 50p. They take £2 or £3

@DoogidGolf @thegolfbusiness @EnglandGolf @ScottishGolf Speak to your club manager. Yes companies charge commissions for advertising and promoting greenfees, too much if you ask me, but they don’t put a fee on selling on your own website like @ScottishGolf ! Avoid the fee, call the pro shop!
