@uncle_deluge@eris_nerung@yingstdan@memeticsisyphus Are you suggesting that John Locke was insincere in his letter concerning toleration? My sense of his motivation was something more along the lines of Karl Popper’s notion of intolerance of intolerance. I wasn’t aware that Locke had flip-flopped.
@eris_nerung@yingstdan@memeticsisyphus While some might consider the differences between Anglicanism and Catholicism superficial, Locke rejected the extension of tolerance to Catholics.
Europeans and American patriots!
Tomorrow, the courts of my country, France, may decide to send me to prison for daring to say on television that “the main danger to women in France is Black African and Arab immigrant men.”
Meanwhile, my own attacker, a Tunisian migrant, is still at large.
I need your help to generate media pressure and hope to be acquitted.
They cannot silence the truth!
Thank you for your support 💪🏻🇫🇷
@LOTrolhello@TheDrRansom@Antweegonus To understand how this sounds, imagine being told that there are no trade offs to racial segregation that actually matter to the right.
If you think that the most replicable major area in research psychology — and also the one with some of the largest effect sizes in the discipline — is invalid, you're proving you're an idiot who has done zero research about it.
Steven Pinker: "The research replicability crisis in psychology doesn't apply to IQ research — these studies have huge sample sizes and replicable results. But people hate the message."
One of the great power imbalances between conservatives and Leftists is the fact that our religion is religion, while their religion masquerades as politics.
As such, we are governed by SCOTUS-determined “separation of church and state” and the Leftists are not.
Case in point: “Pride Month.”
This is a month-long celebration of the Left’s religion, but because it is not treated as a religion, federal/state/local governments everywhere can indulge in it.
However, if we were to try and have governments celebrating “Jesus Month,” the lawsuits would be so thick you couldn’t cut through them with a rainbow chainsaw.
I’m not sure how to solve this.
@armsq17 Also consider the price of a home: the median home was $23-$24k in 1970, vs. $430-$440k in 2022. Even after inflation that's roughly a 3x differential. More square footage, sure, but if you want to live in a house you have to buy what's available.
@armsq17 The two worker house has greater expenses (esp. commuting). In '22, the out of pocket portion of health care was dramatically higher as there was minimal exposure for an insured household in '70. If the family has young kids, daycare is a massive expense for the '22 household.

In the middle of Germany, a tour guide waves the German flag for his tourist group.
Jewish visitors get deeply offended and complain.
Police swarm in because it evokes Nazi supremacy for them.
What the hell is happening?
@GayBearRes This isn't a men/women issue; it's an issue for husbands and wives who don't love each other. If your spouse is horny, yet you (M or f) don't desire to satisfy them *for that reason alone*, your love is inferior and defective. This entire discourse is for/about bad spouses.
Palantir founder Joe Lonsdale:
“The only way a people prevails is with strength. Be a strong Jew. Be a man that makes them afraid to attack your people.”
Who are your people, Joe? @JTLonsdale
Trump DOJ official Leo Terrell says he will attempt to make Austin Franco permanently unhireable for saying he doesn’t want to work with a Jew.

The Florida GOP is now openly rigging the gubernatorial primary against James Fishback.
If the GOP is going to sabotage every America First candidate like Thomas Massie & now Fishback, then they deserve to be totally destroyed in 2026.
Party of traitors & controlled opposition.
A 19-year-old college student quietly turns down a job interview, stupidly telling the company it's because he doesn't want to work for a Jew.
Within two days:
-- The billionaire founder of one of the world's most powerful corporations (Palantir) demands that the company release his the student's to the world. The company instantly complies.
-- National media trumpet the incident and spread the student's name and face all over the place.
-- A senior Trump DOJ official repeatedly urges the public to notify him if that student is ever hired anywhere in the future, promising to use his office to keep the student permanently unemployable.
Adults with large, influential platforms -- pundits, media types, even elected officials -- right here on X routinely say things as bad as, and often much worse than, pretty much every other group you can think of without facing a single consequence let alone a completely unhinged coordinated campaign of very powerful people to run their lives forever:
Re mail voting: I’m just telling you that it is literally unbelievable that people are not having votes cast for them or being pressured into changing their vote by family members, etc.
That’s literally impossible to believe. No smart person can believe it. It’s literally impossible to believe.
We can argue about whether it’s just a few people or a lot of people. That’s fine. We can have that argument. But it’s literally impossible to believe that it’s not happening. Of course it’s happening. It is impossible to believe that that’s not happening.
