The average resident of Raleigh is about 33.
The average age of voters so far in Wake County municipal elections? Nearly double that!
Young folks: Get out and vote!
#ralpol
Tomorrow is Election Day in Raleigh, folks. I know most of y’all on here (#ralpol) have already cast your ballots, but I bet you have a friend or relative or neighbor that still needs to get to the polls. Make plans today!
This week my wife and I collectively have taken around 10 people down to the voting office on Salisbury to vote. These elections arguably have more of an impact to your daily lives in Raleigh than any national election.

After a month in Asia, and 24 hours to get over jet lag, first thing I did was go vote in the #ralpol City Council election. No line, no fuss. Go vote!
"Affordable housing is not a problem just for poor people or for people of color. It’s a problem for all of us. If we don’t do something, we’re all going to look up one day and wonder where in the world are we going to live." https://t.co/Sj2kpzUq5q
If everyone who sees this tweet votes and takes a friend with them, you’ll double the turnout. It takes everyone doing a little bit to make a big impact! #ralpol
@TheGrannyFlats I love that all of us on @Twitter are fired up to get out vote...but not sure we reach anyone but #RalPol, and we're the mostly likely to have already VOTED! It's time to take your hands off the keyboard and corral your friends and family and neighbors and get them to the polls!
