The Oakland A’s were killed by greed. Do not allow the people responsible for this to spin it any other way. John Fisher did not have to move this team. Major League Baseball and its owners did not need to be complicit in it. This was a choice. A wrong one. History will sneer.
Dear John,
With all due respect, which is more than you likely deserve, save it. Be an adult. Get in front of a camera and say it with your chest. Releasing a letter, clearly written by someone else, and including a bunch of names you DEFINITELY do not know, is just disrespectful to those that love the team.
"We tried." lol. The fact that you STILL think that anyone cares about that at this point shows, once again, your lack of understanding of WHY people love the game. You love owning stuff, just not your actions. Either stand up with pride or keep hiding. Pick one, we're tired.
This is fucking pathetic that the A's are doing this to their fans. They should be giving away tickets for free for the last home game after what they've put these fans through, not 10x-ing the face value. They are unequivocally the worst. https://t.co/cc3arEJERM
Starting tomorrow: me and Big Cat have decided to bet against the Athletics runline (-1.5 for their opponent) every game for 162 games this season. The Owner John Fisher is a piece of shit and he deserves to be ridiculed for what hes done to the city. Sell the team
The @Athletics have turned replys off on all their tweets because theyre cowards if u want to communicate with the athletics please do so in this space below
“Ownership has done all it could do to make this positively awful. … Why would a single person, even if they love this team and have their whole life, why would anyone give a single dollar to this ownership after this? I wouldn’t.”
Well said, @notthefakeSVP
